It starts out looking like the typical gacha-heavy, merge-style tower defense game that's become so popular on mobile in recent years, but there's a lot more going on here. The real core of Defense Derby's brilliance is in the method of recruiting new units for the four players going against each other in any given match. In between waves of monster attacks, a single unit will be made available, and players must each put in a bid for that unit. The player with the highest bid (or players, if multiple players bid the same amount) pay that price and get the unit in exchange.

Very F2P friendly, has a big interesting story and actually gives you challenge. Also endgame content is a thing instead of Genshin. Community is also great and creative. At least worth trying it if you didn't. One of the best gachas (probably the best) I've played so far.

The gameplay is basically a copy of 7DS : Grand Cross that came earlier, but with some pretty good improvement. It's basically turn based strategy with a bit of card battler elements to spice things up. It's more complex than HSR, but still relatively simple.

Wuthering Waves is, without a doubt, a great game in terms of gameplay mechanics, graphics, and combat system. The movement is fluid, the animations are top-tier, and the overall atmosphere is immersive. It really feels like a game made with care when it comes to how it plays and looks. However, for players like me who care a lot about the story and character development, the narrative side of things feels lacking — and honestly, it’s disappointing.

Genshin Impact may not be the most generous gacha but They are definitely THE BEST game currently in mobile market. Offering triple A in terms of Gameplay, Animation/Design, and Story for FREE. The story is endless, full of lore and so deep, even the NPC's story. There are so many cool and beautiful characters to choose from. Also, the combat system is very nice due to the elemental reaction synergy. Recently, Genshin becomes more and more generous and the reruns of banner are fast, so players can get characters they miss faster!

SHOULD I PLAY SILVER AND BLOOD? Not unless things drastically improve between the current test version and the final release. Silver and Blood is the latest in a never-ending flood of mobile gacha RPGs, with its only notable feature being a dark story involving vampires. Virtually everything else here is been-there-done-that unless you haven’t touched one of these types of games before, and it doesn’t even do a particularly good job with the many recycled elements.

Magic Chronicle is the latest in a long line of idle auto-battler gacha games that are essentially just clones of AFK Arena with nothing new to offer. The presentation in this one is high-quality enough, if generic, and there’s at least a lot of different modes to keep players distracted. But in the end, there’s just not a hook here that’s likely to pull in players long-term, especially if insane levels of pay-to-win monetization put you off.

No, except it becomes a tedious story of traversing roads, forests, academies and kingdoms (like in the name) to meet some cookies that..... have titles and also neat little costumes from the rainbow gacha (which is the best part of the gacha system, don't get me wrong; it's just that I'd rather pull for the costumes of the rare cookies than get the new Epic cookies in their gacha.) Yeah, the LORE is not strong with this one.
