Since 2019, I've been immersed in the world of Arknights, a game known for its outstanding 2D graphics and captivating story. With its excellent tower defence gameplay and meticulous design, the game has received widespread acclaim. The best proof I can give that Tower of God: New World is actually worth it compared to the average idle gacha game? Well, playing it was enough to convince me to actually check out the Tower of God manhwa and anime series, both of which I was completely unfamiliar with prior to checking out New World. It takes a damn good game to have that effect on me. Part of the reason Tower of God: New World actually pulls off that impressive feat is that it actually does a great job of presenting the story from the source material. New World has a ton of different modes, but there are two I spent most of my time in: adventure and story.

I love tower defense games, but I've played so many over the years that it's tough to find one that does something new. With that in mind, Defense Derby definitely surprised and impressed me! It starts out looking like the typical gacha-heavy, merge-style tower defense game that's become so popular on mobile in recent years, but there's a lot more going on here. The real core of Defense Derby's brilliance is in the method of recruiting new units for the four players going against each other in any given match. In between waves of monster attacks, a single unit will be made available, and players must each put in a bid for that unit. The player with the highest bid (or players, if multiple players bid the same amount) pay that price and get the unit in exchange.

I've seen plenty of other posts with the "Themostgenerousgacha" hashish tag, mentioning games like Blue Archive, Punishing Gray Raven, Demian Saga, etc. and I won't deny that those games are generous. They really are, but generous is all they are. If you want a SUPER GENEROUS, entirely free to play game with NOTHING locked behind a paywall, then you have to give Romancing SaGa Re;univerSe a try! Some of you who have played this game before will say that this game has paid gacha currency, and yes, that's true, but it's practically the same as the free gacha currency. Why, you ask? Well, it's quite simple, but first, I have to mention that, in RSRS, banners ALWAYS come out in pairs: One free banner and one paid banner.

Very generous, though you do have to save well aand refrain from pulling other banners, but you can definitely get all characters if you play everyday right from the global release. What I like from this game is that it doesn't take much time to do dailies, plus it keeps me entertained even when I I'm busy.

For me Nikke has been one of my constant favorite Gacha's since it's beta release. It's been a love hate thing at times though. Sometimes the gacha RNG is awesome and sometimes not so much. But this is my absolute favorite gacha! For the time being the devs honestly seem to really care about feedback and suggestions. This game is definitely improving with every patch, hotfix, and major update. Looking forward to seeing what the future holds in store for Nikke.

Square Enix has spent the past few years rebuilding a lot of its old-school credibility with a bunch of high-quality pixel-art games using what that publisher calls "HD-2D" visuals. Think stuff like Octopath Traveler, where it's using pixel visuals that would feel at home on the Super Nintendo, but with a level of quality that classic hardware couldn't possibly pull off. It's a wonder that more other publishers and developers haven't tried to follow Square's example, which is why I was immediately interested in Knightingale, a gacha game with JRPG aesthetics and an absolutely beautiful look being created by NetEase. And while the first closed beta for Knightingale definitely has some very big technical issues, I'm impressed and cautiously optimistic with the actual game here.

SHOULD I PLAY RISK OF RAIN: HOSTILE WORLDS? The answer to this is going to depend a lot on what you’re looking for when you approach the game. Do you want a fun, fast, low-stakes action game on mobile with gacha and grinding for if you decide to get invested for the long haul? Epic Seven (7) is epic. Great graphics along with beautiful animated cutscenes that appear not too commonly during the storyline; atleast this is compensated by the new characters' E3 animations. Speaking of which, the LORE is immaculate. I cannot recall ever skipping the text that plays at the beginning of each level or episode, because I want to get to know the characters. The characters, no matter the rarity, all play such a huge role in the overarching LORE of Epic Seven; despite the endless roster of playable characters, there's never any one that leaves me confused on who they are. (The Moonlight heroes, on the other hand.......)

Total size when I play this game is 1,67 GB, Turn based RPG. In my opinion, this game is similar in terms of character design and character classes to the Dragon Nest game, but overall is very good. Rarity draw hero, pets, relics and powerful talent balanced. Obtaining draw tickets, purple crystals, and other resources are also easy to obtain even if you don't top up. As in other game reviews, the key is to be patient and play diligently.
