SHOULD I PLAY THE WANDERING ARK? Give this one a go if you're into gacha games, slingshot mechanics, PVP, or post-apocalyptic settings. I'm usually very suspicious about gacha titles and the all too frequent pay-to-win strategies that keep the game from being fun without. Luckily, The Wandering Ark was consistently entertaining and has generous drops. Best of all, I didn't have to pay anything! TIME PLAYED

SHOULD I PLAY MAGIC CHRONICLE? Probably not, unless you’re dying for a new idle game. Magic Chronicle is the latest in a long line of idle auto-battler gacha games that are essentially just clones of AFK Arena with nothing new to offer. The presentation in this one is high-quality enough, if generic, and there’s at least a lot of different modes to keep players distracted. But in the end, there’s just not a hook here that’s likely to pull in players long-term, especially if insane levels of pay-to-win monetization put you off.

SHOULD I PLAY SILVER AND BLOOD? Not unless things drastically improve between the current test version and the final release. Silver and Blood is the latest in a never-ending flood of mobile gacha RPGs, with its only notable feature being a dark story involving vampires. Virtually everything else here is been-there-done-that unless you haven’t touched one of these types of games before, and it doesn’t even do a particularly good job with the many recycled elements.

Since 2019, I've been immersed in the world of Arknights, a game known for its outstanding 2D graphics and captivating story. With its excellent tower defence gameplay and meticulous design, the game has received widespread acclaim. Recently, Arknights CN has once again started a collaboration with Rainbow 6, and I believe this amazing partnership will soon reach the global servers. If you want to be well-prepared for the event, starting to play Arknights now is a wise choice.

Imagine getting the new character on their debut, guaranteed, completely F2P. No 50/50s. That's what PGR gacha is like. You can even get a free dupe of any S rank just by doing weekly content. Add in a great story, incredible combat, free SFX skins, and fun characters, and you have PGR in a nutshell.

I wasn't planning on making a post about Wuthering Waves for the time being, but after what I just saw on social media, I cant stay quiet anymore! JUST LOOK AT THIS: It was just LAST NIGHT that I wrote on one of their posts, saying that it would have been nice if every dialogue was skipable and less than 24 hours later, BAM! Arknights has been, for over 3 to 4 years now, the one satisfying and generous gacha game I have played for the longest time. Being a F2P is not entirely a problem as saving and pulling for the characters that you want aren't much of a problem. Granted, it IS a gacha game so rng is still a factor in some losses. Game progression is hardly a problem since almost all the stages/levels can be completed by just low-rarity characters. That said, potentials for characters in the game aren't exactly required as they are complimentary. They may provide some assistance but even without duplicates/potentials, the characters are ready to use.  Events in the game give out a welfare/free character in which players just progress in the event to obtain, potentials included. Arknights also has some freebies here and there such as log-in events or anything the devs can throw in your mail. Limited events and yearly anniversaries are where the game gets buffed a lot with giveaways. A hefty amount of pulls and rewards are given and during CN anniversaries, a free 6-star (highest rarity) is the welfare instead of a 5-star. Skins are easily bought, granted the player saves up for said skins. Web events are also present during anniversaries, accounting for more rewards given out. I can say that most players, especially F2P, really do enjoy the game and many aspects of it. The devs are loved, the community usually goes hand in hand (most of the time), and the game itself that entertains the players and is run by people who care for its audience.

SHOULD I PLAY ONE PUNCH MAN WORLD? Hell yeah! When I first played One Punch Man World last year, I was blown away. That hasn’t changed now and I’m still surprised by how good the full version is. This game executes almost all of its features exceptionally well and does an incredible job of capturing the appeal of the One Punch Man anime and manga. One Punch Man World is a perfect example of what a gacha game should be: insanely fun and addictive, visually stunning, and not filled with extremely pay-to-win systems.

AFK Arena is one of the most addictive idle games I've ever played, but AFK Journey improves upon it in every way. Everything about it is amazing, from its stunning character designs to its strategic battles to its immersive world. While it's techniquely an idle battler, it's a game that's impossible to tear yourself away from. There's always something to do in AFK Journey, and if you feel like playing it for hours, you can absolutely do so. That flexibility might be my favorite thing about the game. The gameplay had me hooked right from the start, so I got in a good long play session before I took my first break. When I came back, there were tons of idle rewards waiting for me. I love that I can switch between playing it non-stop and treating it as a standard idle game.
