I love tower defense games, and I have a self-admitted weakness for gacha when it's done right, so of course Watcher of Realms was going to appeal to me! In this title, each of my towers was represented in the form of a character I could pull from the gacha and power up individually through leveling, equipping gear, and so on. It's sort of like Defense Derby, but with a more traditional (read: boring) high fantasy visual style.

Wuthering Waves is, without a doubt, a great game in terms of gameplay mechanics, graphics, and combat system. However, for players like me who care a lot about the story and character development, the narrative side of things feels lacking — and honestly, it’s disappointing.

SHOULD I PLAY SILVER AND BLOOD? Not unless things drastically improve between the current test version and the final release. Silver and Blood is the latest in a never-ending flood of mobile gacha RPGs, with its only notable feature being a dark story involving vampires. I went into the closed beta test for Kemono Friends: Kingdom knowing basically nothing about this franchise beyond the fact that there has been at least one previous mobile game and a semi-popular anime series. So if you're a hardcore fan, know that my opinion is based solely on the little bit I've played of this latest mobile game in the series and nothing else. That said, that little bit I've played is pretty dang fun! Kemono Friends takes place in a world where animals have been transformed into anime waifus, who in turn are at war with a more aggressive breed of mutated creature called "Ceruleans." I took on the role of a newcomer to this strange world who had amnesia but was able to help out in the fight against the Ceruleans.

SHOULD I PLAY ONE PUNCH MAN WORLD? Hell yeah! When I first played One Punch Man World last year, I was blown away. That hasn’t changed now and I’m still surprised by how good the full version is. This game executes almost all of its features exceptionally well and does an incredible job of capturing the appeal of the One Punch Man anime and manga. One Punch Man World is a perfect example of what a gacha game should be: insanely fun and addictive, visually stunning, and not filled with extremely pay-to-win systems.

For me Nikke has been one of my constant favorite Gacha's since it's beta release. It's been a love hate thing at times though. Sometimes the gacha RNG is awesome and sometimes not so much. But this is my absolute favorite gacha! For the time being the devs honestly seem to really care about feedback and suggestions. This game is definitely improving with every patch, hotfix, and major update. Looking forward to seeing what the future holds in store for Nikke.

The Most, Enjoyable Gacha Game ive ever played... The only thing you need is just a lot of practice cause this game required a lot of attentions to the enemies move or else youre gonna die quicker than the money on my bank account. Not to mention the music in this game is really really good

Square Enix has spent the past few years rebuilding a lot of its old-school credibility with a bunch of high-quality pixel-art games using what that publisher calls "HD-2D" visuals. It's a wonder that more other publishers and developers haven't tried to follow Square's example, which is why I was immediately interested in Knightingale, a gacha game with JRPG aesthetics and an absolutely beautiful look being created by NetEase. And while the first closed beta for Knightingale definitely has some very big technical issues, I'm impressed and cautiously optimistic with the actual game here.
