Also, the combat system is very nice due to the elemental reaction synergy. The Tale of Food is a cozy gacha RPG that, true to its name, revolves around food. It's set in a universe where the most delicious meals take on human form and become "Food Souls." As the heir of the Food God, it's your job to protect these human delicacies and travel the world in search of more souls. Lots of gacha games revolve around collecting waifus, but the collectible characters in Tale of Food are male. You can even give them gifts, which makes it feel a bit like an otome game. Some Food Souls have great designs, but I never felt pressured to spend money to collect more characters. I was able to build a solid party through standard gameplay.

COOKIE RUN KINGDOM!! the devs are generous as all heavens and the diamonds are real easy to get with some grinding. the gacha pulls are PERFECT! although it is hard to get legendary and ancient pulls, whenever there is a new cookie character, it is almost a 4/5 chance you will pull it in the first try. and the amazing thing is, the cookies are introduced right after the end of an arena season so that you'd have diamonds to do your gacha pulls. the upcoming epic and legendary cookie are right after the season and i'm wishing to get them!! COOKIE RUN KINGDOM deserves this win!!!

SHOULD I PLAY MAGIC CHRONICLE? Probably not, unless you’re dying for a new idle game. Magic Chronicle is the latest in a long line of idle auto-battler gacha games that are essentially just clones of AFK Arena with nothing new to offer. The presentation in this one is high-quality enough, if generic, and there’s at least a lot of different modes to keep players distracted. But in the end, there’s just not a hook here that’s likely to pull in players long-term, especially if insane levels of pay-to-win monetization put you off.

I'm not gonna beat around the bush with this one - Cookie Run: Kingdom is good, but...... That's all you need to know. The 'but' is a major factor as to why Cookie Run: Kingdom is slowly losing its mass appeal and dominance in the gacha game industry. The story is weird from the get-go: there are cookies and one of them realizes that their entire purpose is to be eaten by the witches. The end? No, except it becomes a tedious story of traversing roads, forests, academies and kingdoms (like in the name) to meet some cookies that..... have titles and also neat little costumes from the rainbow gacha (which is the best part of the gacha system, don't get me wrong; it's just that I'd rather pull for the costumes of the rare cookies than get the new Epic cookies in their gacha.) Yeah, the LORE is not strong with this one.

Last Cloudia is extremely f2p friendly. It has a compelling story, stunning visuals, awesome combat, regular events and new content. And the dev actually listen to the community.

These Beascuits added buffs for your cookies that were not able to be obtained such as "amplify buff" and "damage resist bypass". Now let's go back to the story, so this starts out in a forest housing white lily cookies more drawn out story going on from the first campaign, a new Cookie "elder faerie"  Cookie is the defender of the Beast cookies, which are the first holders of the soul jams. Something that was recently stolen by dark echantress Cookie, we as the player go on to fight this Cookie named shadow milk cookie, but he's a jack-in-the-box and os very dangerous. But we defeat that and go on. But I recommend playing it yourself, for the full lore explanation in the actual game.
