Starborne: Frontiers, a tactical mobile MMO from Solid Clouds, has just revealed its soft launch on Android and iOS. A PC edition will follow later this year. The game combines Gacha and strategy-based components with an uncommon for the genre realistic art style.
The 2020 game Starborne: Sovereign Space has a successor called Starborne: Frontiers. Frontiers takes place in the same world and will deliver an immersive storytelling experience that builds on all the intrigue and mystery of its predecessor.
Players will discover themselves in a region of the Starborne Universe that knows only chaos in the game's future setting, 400 years from now. Mega corporations are at each other's necks in an unregulated environment in an effort to dominate and amass wealth.
The soft launch of the game is a significant milestone for Solid Clouds and the development team, who have worked hard to accomplish the goals we have set ourselves, said Stefan Gunnarson, CEO of Solid Clouds, in a statement. The game is accessible through app shops, and we anticipate hearing from users. With each iteration of the game that we improve and further create, we get closer to its finished state.
