Nothing is better than a good old-fashioned revenge quest! Especially one where I could remove my head and launch it at enemies! That's the premise of Skeletal Avenger, and I loved it! The assortment of weapons at my disposal, the odd skeletal protagonist, and the RPG elements made this a fun adventure worth exploring.
In Skeletal Avenger, I played as a resurrected skeleton out for revenge against the folks who did me in. Details of my past life were few, but honestly, I didn't care. The premise was easy enough to hook me, and the gameplay was simple and fun.
I particularly liked the combat, which was fast-paced, but also allowed me to switch up my technique. For example, different weapons, like daggers, dealt less damage but allowed for speedier combat. Different armor sets allowed for increased status effects and abilities like healing faster.
But of course, my favorite move was taking off my head and launching it at my enemies! I haven't played many games that allow me to do that, and it felt damn satisfying.
Skeletal Avenger is a fun game worth checking out if you're looking for a nice mix of roguelike/RPG and something straightforward to get into.
