If there’s one person in this world that loves anime more than almost anything else out there, it’s definitely me. I grew up watching anime, thanks to my brother, and have seen practically forty percent of all the series and movies in the world. Yes, that’s a lot of free time wasted. I also like games too—so what’s better than anime? Anime-inspired games, of course!
I’m stoked about this Summer’s list of anime and the debut of Honkai: Star Rail. It’s Isekai time, woop woop! From Honkai: Star Rail releasing on April 26, 2023 to anime series like Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2, Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2, Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War - The Separation, and more coming along too, I’m overwhelmed with excitement. No, I’m serious; I can’t wait to watch all these different anime series and play Honkai: Star Rail that I’ve literally started playing Honkai Impact 3rd just to pass time. Honkai Impact 3rd has been the perfect game to play while I wait for Honkai: Star Rail and all the upcoming anime. It’s an entertaining and immersive action RPG with gacha elements, anime-inspired visuals, and a storyline that could rival Genshin Impact’s. I’ve played Honkai Impact 3rd in the past, but this is the first time I’ve actually gotten far in the game and it’s been a blast.
I’ve had a great time exploring the main story and watching all the action-packed cutscenes that Honkai Impact 3rd had to offer. It was also cool that I got to learn more about this futuristic world of magic and robots. I mean, spells and big machines with lasers and rockets? Count me in!
I’ve also had fun doing side missions here and there and collecting resources to boost my characters. Oh, and speaking of characters, I’ve got a few dope ones too. When it comes to gacha rolling, I’m a good example of why you shouldn’t spend money after you’ve only started playing the game, but I just couldn’t resist. All the characters in Honkai Impact 3rd look sublime. It’s almost as if I couldn’t lose no matter which one I got and those were pretty good odds in my opinion to roll the dice.
Even without spending money, the game offered me characters by simply playing the game and that was awesome. One of them was the Herrscher of the Void—a ranged character that would dish out explosive, gravity-based attacks and decimate a battlefield—which I pretty much played and used the entire game. There was also a mountain of rewards to collect, even only after playing for around six hours. Like, I was swimming in gold and upgrade materials and it was freakin’ fantastic.
There was so much to do in Honkai Impact 3rd that it became really easy to get lost in the game and play for hours on end. I actually had to pull myself from grinding today to write this post so that's saying something. Honkai Impact 3rd is such a great game that’s really helped me pass time while waiting for Honkai: Star Rail and all the upcoming anime series. It wouldn’t be surprising to say that I’ll likely continue playing Honkai Impact 3rd even after Honkai: Star Rail arrives.
Honkai: Star Rail arrives on 26 April 2023, while most of the Summer 2023 anime will arrive anywhere between May to July.
yep, honkai is best game, I have ever played❤❤
