The game is a refreshing take on RPG considering how the market nowadays is oversaturated with the same type of games and their clones.
Overview:
You are in charge of a group of adventurers exploring new stages while upgrading them through alchemy. The following are some of the basic mechanics of the game:
-Combat is done automatically although you are in charge of activating the characters' active skills.
-Each party consists of 4 characters.
-You unlock new characters by progressing through the story, no gacha needed!
-You clear a stage and get materials which can be used to craft items
-These items can either be sold or used to upgrade characters.
-You can tell the characters where to move
-You can watch ads to get some freebies.
-There are battle pass.
-There's energy system but hear me out. There are two types of energy, passive and stored. You recharge passive energy after some time. But, you can also get extra energy through missions or rewards which can be stored and does not add up to the passive energy. Which essentially means you have 2 sources of energy.
What I like:
-The art is very cute and refreshing
-Story is interesting and the characters are funny
-There's no character gacha only items
What I don't like
-Battle pass. It's not really a big deal but I don't really like it.
-Gameplay is boring as you mostly watch them fight.
-Combat can be pretty frustrating sometimes. The characters are divided into ranged and melee. You can target where the characters would move, but since monsters spawn all over the map, ranged characters would sometimes melee the enemy instead. I wish they can make distance themselves or automatically stand behind melees.
-Character pool is currently very limited
TLDR; Unique and interesting aesthetic wise, but gameplay is basically auto battle.
