Some more wasted potential.
I was really excited about the game - mostly because the game looked great. So why 2 stars? Let me point some things out.
The story is nothing special, just another "you lost your memory and now you're the special one, leading a bunch of cute girls", but the graphics and awesome voice acting got me excited to see where it goes....and it goes nowhere.
As soon as (iirc) chapter one is done, the cutscenes stop, the voice acting stops, the STORY ITSELF stops, and you're left with some of the most boring stages that don't have any meaning.
This is also one of those games where a small power difference between you and the enemies makes stages impossible, especially early on, when you don't have many options.
Now, I won't even bother mentioning that a couple ten-pulls cost as much as a AAA game, but come on, in the 10 days that I've played it, they added like 4 new banners!!!! FOUR!!! And you do get plenty of "crystals" early on, but you run dry once you're done with most stages.
The energy regeneration is slow, just like so many games, 1 point every 6 minutes, and the stage cost for pretty much anything, even story missions, is 20+, so you have to pretty much pick between progressing the story or upgrading your characters.
And now to the thing that made me quit - after finally managing to gather the materials to ascend my favorite character over level 70, I was ready to boost her all the way up to 80...but then, the game devs made a really asinine decision by making XP potions not work on characters over level 70...you need NEW potions for that, potions that you can only get from a stage that at the time of me quitting had 5k power higher requirement than my party - and I'm not even sure how I could get that much power, since every "gear" (3 cards) upgrade or talent point upgrade only gives a small increase.
But let's say I had the power, these new level 70+ XP potions give the same amount of XP as the old ones, so you need to farm for weeks to level your team! And not to mention that by getting those XP potions, you're not getting potions that you can use to level up NEW characters, because those potions can ONLY be used on lvl 70+ characters...meaning you're only left with getting XP potions from dailies to level up your alts...
All in all, it could've been a good game, but some of their decisions were just bizarre...

I've been playing this game since release and I can only give this game 2 stars max. The reason for it is for many. One if you enjoy the story like I do it will take forever for you to know what happens next because of the level spike. Now that wouldn't be so bad if you get enough materials to keep leveling up, but you don't. Two I hate the gacha rate so much. It feels so low and when you finally accumulate enough crystals to do any sort of summon on banner majority of the time you'll be disappointed.

Played for a good amount of time Lvl 80 but quitted • Buggy • The core gameplay is good but handled by a garbage publisher. • Stamina system is garbage (probably the worst) • gacha rate is garbage • very grindy • CP requirement becomes too high as you progress further making it harder for f2p players to progress • A lot of currencies • Full of MTX (heck you'll often be greeted with time-limited deals on the lobby)

I have played this game for a long time but I suddenly stopped. I have a lot of reasons not gonna lie. 1. Gacha have very low rate up nowadays. Unless you're a pay to win it's easy to get a cookie, but for players like me, a free to play player; It makes it more difficult to get newer cookies even though I have a lot of ways of doing so. 2. So many consecutive lengendaries & super epic banners among updates.
