Games worth discovering
Honkai: Star rail is a huge letdown. NOT the best of both worlds.
981 View2023-04-28The writing and jokes are bad .. the environment is dead and empty along with the NPC's, It's so incredibly boring.
As a gacha it's painful the pity system and dupes there's so much more Genshin in this game then honkai, it's a terrible thing down to the progression systems, UI, upgrades etc..
They even put in a "resin" system and we pretty much have ley lines as well.. this is just not good and shows just bad intentions with very intensional and out there predatory systems.
It isn't good compared to other gachas but it's also
not good compared to other turn based RPGs.
there's so many to pick from but Honkai Star rail is incredibly simple and flat when it comes to the combat and to unlock and have it be more engaging you'd want to get dupes so your characters can do more things then just 3 buttons all game..
The game tries to push that on you, to roll for more characters to "win" and also have much deeper characters combat wise.
It's fairly predatory but honestly that is to be expected with gacha games but this is still up there at peek lvls of corporate greed, it's just a very flat game in general sadly it's a skip for me let's hope ZZZ end up being better then this.. garbage, sorry to say.

i totally agree. its pretty much scuffed genshin all over again. And they will keep making games with this gacha system as long some idiot go for it...

Author likedbro, star rail only just came out and it's like a newborn baby, but it's progressing fast, also it's a fcking turn based rpg unlike genshin, also the lip sync on the characters are 80% accurate and they do not look dead at all, you just dislike it cuz the game is doing better than genshin at this point.
