Fun. Refreshing. Beautiful. Quirky.
If there's one thing that keeps me wanting to invest more time in a game, it's the LORE. The storyline in "Honkai Star Rail" is a captivating tapestry of narratives that unfolds itself into a richly crafted universe filled with compelling characters and intricate plotlines.
The game hasn't even celebrated its first anniversary, yet the quality of storytelling and its use of various real-word themes and influences compete with that of fully drawn-out, established gacha games. This alone makes me implore you to atleast TRY the game, let alone explore the first two regions in their entirety.

Honkai: Star rail is a huge letdown. NOT the best of both worlds.
The writing and jokes are bad .. the environment is dead and empty along with the NPC's, It's so incredibly boring.
As a gacha it's painful the pity system and dupes there's so much more Genshin in this game then honkai, it's a terrible thing down to the progression systems, UI, upgrades etc..
They even put in a "resin" system and we pretty much have ley lines as well.. this is just not good and shows just bad intentions with very intensional and out there predatory systems.

A Fantastic "Gaccha" Game
Honkai Star Rail is a turn based gaccha game developed by Hoyoverse who I am sure your aware of as the developers of Genshin Impact and Honkai Impact. Much like it's predecessor, Honkai Star Rail also released to critical acclaim and was near impossible to avoid from advertisements to friends talking about it all the time. Naturally I also tried the game when it launched but I didn't stick around with it for long.

I remembered when honkai star rail were first announced it was like back in 2020 when a YouTuber came by a file named honkai galaxia I was a big honkai impact fan then it was before genshin impact was released it was supposed to be a honkai impact 4th but was later delay and never mentioned till 2022 as it is know as we all know today as honkai star rail I just wonder what mihoyo had originally planned for honkai star rail
