I’m working on a small cat lane strategy game called Claws of Power, and lately I’ve been testing this new unit: Chef Cat. He’s not really a fighter by design – tall chef hat, white coat, frying pan in hand. As long as he doesn’t have to hit anyone, he’ll just stand there and “cook” fresh dried fish on the battlefield, slowly boosting your income over time. The fun (and kind of dumb) part is stacking him: more chefs → more fish → more cats → even more chefs… At some point it really feels like you dragged the entire kitchen onto the lane. Of course, if your frontline collapses, the whole kitchen evaporates in two seconds, so it’s a very greedy way to play. Arknights: Endfield’s technical test is here and we got the privilege to try out the game early and test the waters. First and foremost, Endfield is an action RPG, and as the Endmin, your jobs range from building resource gathering and refining structures to repelling dangerous threats that inhabit the surface of the planet. Alright, so I got to check out The Hidden Ones Alpha Test, and let me just say—this game is shaping up to be a serious contender in the mobile fighting RPG genre. If you’re into martial arts games with fluid combat, anime-style visuals, and intense PvP, this might be one to keep an eye on. From the moment I saw the first trailer, I was hooked and lucky I got selected for Alpha Test. The animations are incredibly smooth, and the gameplay feels like a mix between Shadow Fight and a traditional arena brawler, but with its own unique style.

I'm totally unfamiliar with the original Brown Dust, but Brown Dust 2 has almost immediately and completely won me over as my favorite gacha game I've played since last year's Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent. Like that game, Brown Dust 2 uses absolutely gorgeous hi-res pixel art and storytelling that feels like it comes from the Super Nintendo era of classic Japanese role-playing games.

SHOULD I PLAY THE CALL OF DUTY: MODERN WARFARE III SINGLE PLAYER CAMPAIGN? Yes, especially if you’re looking for something adrenaline-filled and action-packed that you can beat in under five hours! Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is taking some criticism for its short campaign length, but in an age where completing a game often involves removing yourself from all social obligations and devoting your entire life to finishing the task, I appreciated being able to digest it in a single setting. Despite the naysayers, I thought the single-player campaign had great visuals, memorable moments, and fun mission objectives that allowed me to complete stages in a nonlinear fashion. And for those complaining about the length, might I suggest increasing the difficulty level!
