One of the fun parts of making my own game is that sometimes I can just take a character vibe I really like and turn it into a cat. So this time I made a new unit for Claws of Power called Wade. Dark outfit, glowing red blade, very obvious “space villain” energy. He’s not just there for looks, though. In battle he can use the red blade to block incoming ranged attacks, which makes him really funny to watch against archers and gunners. He also has a pull / gravity-like skill that drags enemies from farther away right into melee range, so once they get close, he can start bullying them properly. The whole thing is still hand-drawn frame by frame, and these GIFs are from my current test build. I’m still tuning him, but he’s already one of those units that feels very satisfying when everything lines up. Note: These are my thoughts on this game, do not treat it as fact if you play the game. Likes: The story is truly amazing, and impactful! 2. The voice acting is amazing! 3. The music is riveting in battle! 4. The combat is simple but very engaging nonetheless! 5. The various functions in the outpost make this game so much easier to enjoy! 6. The characters look amazing! 7. The game itself is very beautiful! 8. Most of the characters have their own back story, which really makes you remember a character when they are not in your midst, or at least "bond" with them. 9. There are animated cutscenes from time to time. 10. The occasional texts from Nikkes is pretty refreshing sometimes. 11. The chibi models are cute. 12 The synchro device is amazing! The five highest level Nikkes are automatically allocated to the device, to which you can then add any Nikke in an empty slot, and they will be "synced" to that level. That only applies so long as they are in a slot, removing them will return them to their original level. This means you don't have to always upgrade/level up a Nikke to increase their level. Dislikes: A lot of reliance on stats to progress. 2. The SSR molds don't guarantee an SSR Nikke. Now a few important notes/tips: This is an idle game at heart, despite the gameplay being shooter action rpg, so if idle games are not your thing, this may not be for you. 2. Resources are valuable/scare, so spend sparingly. 3. As an idle game, you are not meant to plow through the campaign. 4. The story itself can be very heartbreaking, so if you are faint of heart, either look away, or tread carefully. Finally, this game isn't challenging for the most part, but requires patience above all else. Also, I am in chapter 5, as of the time I posted this review, so I haven't made it very far and thus, I may update this as time goes on.

The combat isn't in depth, which would be strange for a tower defense game. 3. Although it's not in-depth, hoh boy, this game can be DIFFICULT. 4. It's a strategy game for the most part, which is very stimulating for those looking for a mental challenge, such as myself. 5. The characters look great! That's without them being sexualized like so many characters, male and female. 6. The music is superb! I love the default lobby music, it's just so relaxing. 7. A massive variety of characters with different skills and attack patterns, etc, make the game fun despite it being a tower defense game. 8. The game itself looks great! 9. The base function means that f2p players are not screwed, but it may take a while to progress. 10. The proxy annihilation cards make Orundum farming so much quicker! 12. It doesn't seem like that it places massive reliance on stats, I mean I generally can do levels below the recommended operator level. 13. The difficulty is something I seek, because of the feeling of accomplishing a challenge that I thought wasn't possible. 14. The challenge mode addition means that you can play through the game again upon completion but it will be even more difficult in the long run. Dislikes: No multi-farm mechanic. 2. Auto deploy is not always consistent. 3. You can only double the combat speed, which is the default speed in auto deploy, would like it if it could be faster. 4. No way as far as I have been able to see in which you can change your name more than once without spending money. Now, a few important notes/tips: This is a tower defense game, so if that's not your thing, you probably won't enjoy this. 2. The gameplay can indeed be grueling, so if you're easily discouraged, I encourage you to not give up. 3. Resources are rather scarce, especially the only currency which can buy skins, (originate prime) so use sparingly. 4. Five things you will have to learn: Order of deployment, location of deployment, timing of deployment and skills being activated, and team synergy (these five things are often necessary together). 5. Do not convert "originite prime" to "Orundum" or buy furniture with "originite prime" if you care about buying skins for operators. Finally, the story is dark, so it's not for the faint of heart. Also, I am in episode 2, as of the time I posted this review, so I haven't made it very far, and thus, I may update this as time goes on.
