This game is pretty fun, it has a cool gameplay loop that i feel can be expanded upon alot. The music is also very nice but the looping might get old after playing a bit. Astra: Knights of Veda is a gacha side-scrolling beat ‘em up that features a rich story and world with some really gorgeous accompanying visuals. The story of Astra is incredibly illustrated and decently acted. With the demo being fully voice-acted, it kept me engaged most of the time. It also doesn’t shy away from pretty gnarly stuff which I as a story enthusiast appreciated. Astra operates like a typical 2D side-scrolling beat ‘em up, in a way similar to ASTLIBRA Revision released back in 2022, with a basic attack, dodge, special, and ultimate. You need to use these moves in conjunction with each other to successfully clear each zone. You can also switch your characters on the fly (thanks to a big story reason) to spice things up.
