I hate to break it to you but 2025 is probably the last year for CODM. After their ESL contract ends, either they'll Phase out the game or stop giving updates. The main reason is that Activision is done sharing Profits with Timi so they want a solo game & they'll do whatever it takes from giving bots in ranked purposefully & removing fan favourites maps to shift players to WZM.

One of the fun parts of making my own game is that sometimes I can just take a character vibe I really like and turn it into a cat. So this time I made a new unit for Claws of Power called Wade. Dark outfit, glowing red blade, very obvious “space villain” energy. He’s not just there for looks, though. In battle he can use the red blade to block incoming ranged attacks, which makes him really funny to watch against archers and gunners. He also has a pull / gravity-like skill that drags enemies from farther away right into melee range, so once they get close, he can start bullying them properly. The whole thing is still hand-drawn frame by frame, and these GIFs are from my current test build. I’m still tuning him, but he’s already one of those units that feels very satisfying when everything lines up. Greetings Heroes of Armantia! Since our last update with our Beta in October 2023, we’ve been hard at work on Second Wave. We had so much feedback and of course over 20,000 players who tried the game. Since then, we have seen the outcry from the community, and we feel that the game is now ready for Early Access. What does this mean for you? Although we originally planned to release Second Wave at the end of 2024, we realized that we needed to take more time to develop the game. As of now, our timeline is 2025, but we will keep the game in Early Access, which means that players will be able to test the game, give us direct feedback, and help shape the game with us. Second Wave’s Early Access will begin on May 30, 2024 (May 31, 2024 UTC) via the Steam platform on PC.
