CONSOLE TO MOBILE! How Does Resident Evil Village Play on the New Apple Devices?!

Released to great acclaim back in 2021, Resident Evil Village extends its horror to iOS mobile devices, capturing the terror for handheld devices with the juice necessary to run it. That’s right. You better believe you’re gonna need a pretty powerful device to run RE Village properly. It’s a console game that’s still relatively new, making full use of Capcom’s powerful RE Engine. The touch screen experience was rough but the overall gameplay was honestly great for a phone. And here is why. This mainly stems from the fact that RE Village was NEVER meant to be played with a touch screen. The entire screen is how you observe and traverse the titular village and its environments. It’s how you keep your eyes peeled for secrets and dangers. When your hands take upwards of 25% to 30% of that visual input, it can make the game feel claustrophobic and unintuitive.

I made a sci-fi villain cat with a red blade

One of the fun parts of making my own game is that sometimes I can just take a character vibe I really like and turn it into a cat. So this time I made a new unit for Claws of Power called Wade. Dark outfit, glowing red blade, very obvious “space villain” energy. He’s not just there for looks, though. In battle he can use the red blade to block incoming ranged attacks, which makes him really funny to watch against archers and gunners. He also has a pull / gravity-like skill that drags enemies from farther away right into melee range, so once they get close, he can start bullying them properly. The whole thing is still hand-drawn frame by frame, and these GIFs are from my current test build. I’m still tuning him, but he’s already one of those units that feels very satisfying when everything lines up. If you want to see the full clip, I also uploaded it here: https://youtu.be/X_W_qq0W7iI And if you’re curious about the game itself, there’s a free demo of Claws of Power on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3998900/_/

[FPS Tips] Pre-Aim & Pre-Fire: Start Winning Duels Before They Even Begin

You wanna know the secret to looking like you have wallhacks (without actually hacking, you scumbag)? It's all about pre-aiming those common spots and pre-firing anyone dumb enough to walk into your perfectly placed crosshair. Stop relying on pure flick skill; use your brain. 1. Pre-Aiming: Your Crosshair on Their Forehead, BEFORE They Appear · It's Not Rocket Surgery: As you move around the map, especially when approaching corners, doorways, or known enemy hold-spots, keep your crosshair exactly where an enemy's head is likely to be. Don't stare at the floor or the wall like a bot. · Head Level is Key: Always aim for the dome. A pre-aimed headshot is often an instant win. Learn the common head heights for different stances (standing, crouching). · Slicing the Pie": When clearing multiple angles around a corner, don't just swing wide and expose yourself to everyone. Clear one small angle at a time, pre-aiming each potential spot methodically. · Info is Your Best Friend: Hear footsteps around the corner? Pre-aim that angle. Teammate calls out "one A-ramp"? Get your crosshair on A-ramp before you peek it. 2. Pre-Firing: Shooting Ghosts (That Turn Out to Be Real) · When to Let it Rip: High-Traffic Chokepoints: If you know enemies constantly push through a certain doorway or narrow passage, light it up as you approach, or if you hear them coming. Common Hiding Spots/Angles: That annoying corner everyone sits in? Send a "hello" with a few bullets before they even see you. Thin Walls/Cover (Wallbangs): If your game has bullet penetration and you have a good idea someone's hiding behind a thin wall or box, don't be afraid to spray it. Nothing feels better than a cheeky wallbang kill. Based on Sound/Intel: Hear someone defusing the bomb behind a smoke? Pre-fire, that common defuse spot. Hear footsteps rushing toward you? Start shooting where they'll appear. · Don't Just Mag-Dump into Nothing: Pre-firing isn't about emptying your entire magazine, hoping for a lucky hit (unless it's a desperate situation). It's about controlled bursts or a few well-placed shots based on good intel or high probability. · Be Mindful of Your Ammo: If you pre-fire every single corner, you'll be reloading at the worst possible times. Use it strategically. 3. Why This Sh*t Works: · Reduces Reaction Time: If your crosshair is already there, you just have to click. No massive flick needed. You're making them react to your shot. · Psychological Warfare: Getting pre-fired constantly makes enemies hesitant to push or hold common angles. You become a menace. · Free Kills: Catches people off-guard who are just mindlessly running around. Bottom Line: Stop being a reactive player. Start thinking one step ahead. Pre-aim every corner like your life depends on it (because it does), and don't be afraid to send some "exploratory" shots into common spots. You'll be surprised how many "lucky" kills you start getting. #AceArena

Call of Duty: Mobile CN in 2024

Started playing this amidst the Alchemy Stars collab, and so far it's hella fun. You'll get lots of camos, profile customisables and other rewards for playing the themed PvE mode, which is fun. You pull for them anime characters with currency you get from rewards and matches and then level them up and customise them in the loadout. The anime characters themselves won't be present in the battle, but they give some buff and artillery support depending on the character.

Are you looking for your next roguelite obsession? Look no further

SHOULD I PLAY WARM SNOW? Absolutely play it if you enjoy action-packed roguelites with tons of unlockables and a unique setting. Warm Snow takes place in a fictionalized version of seventeenth-century China where the kingdom has fallen into chaos thanks to a strange phenomenon known as “Warm Snow.” I had to slice my way through multiple locations and thousands of mutated enemies to get to the bottom of this bizarre event, equipping myself with different relics and weapons as I did so. This is as tightly designed and fun of a roguelite as I’ve ever played and definitely worth the dozens of hours you can put into it if you want to unlock everything.

When My Cheapest Cat Fuses into a One-Man Army 🐱⚔️

Hi, I’m Garlic Sprout, the solo dev behind Claws of Power. In my game, Bacon Jack is that tiny 1-cost melee cat everyone loves to spam. He’s cute, super cheap, and great for early swarms… but against fancy mid–late game units or big AoE, he usually just melts first and disappears. So I decided to give him his own exclusive item: the Bacon Jack Fusion Device. When you press it, all the little Bacon Jacks on the field fly toward a light point and fuse into Jack Hero. His HP and attack both scale with how many Jacks you sacrificed, so the more “fodder” you throw in, the more ridiculous he becomes. A big Jack Hero can both tank and hit hard – he finally doesn’t have to be bullied by Solo anymore. It also creates a fun choice: do you keep Bacon Jack as a throwaway frontline, or cash them all in at once for a single muscle hero? The GIF I’m posting shows the fusion in action and how Jack Hero fights once he’s on the field. If you’re curious about the game, there’s a free demo of Claws of Power on Steam – any wishlist or feedback really helps me as a solo dev. 🐾 https://store.steampowered.com/app/3998900/_/

👍 Pros: We all know the og, with the music to the blocky graphics that can make you think of Lego. 👎 Cons: The game was so good back then, but I don't want to bring up the old generation as my complaint. Hear me out, their best feat is also their flaw… mobs. 🎮 Gameplay: The game is not too graphical which doesn't explode your devices. The game is so fun and you can play for hours to come. 🕹️ Controls: The controls are the problem (specifically mobile), I tried it and the struggle is real. I don’t even know where to start, first the mobility SUCK. PvP-wise, you cannot multitask whatsoever on mobile, you can’t turn, attack, or move at the same time, making you an easy target against PC players. And for a bonus, you’re on the settings most of the time adjusting the controls or just changing your POV to third person front/back.

Capcom's brilliant fighting game expands the genre in new directions - Street Fighter 6 Review

Times have really changed. I can’t imagine telling the seven-year-old me playing Street Fighter II Turbo that one day, I won’t have to learn all those complex button combinations to pull off fancy moves. Or that moral lessons like learning the answer to “what strength is” will be part of my goal, right alongside side jobs such as making pizza. You might be asking yourself, what happened to the series where folks yelled “Hadouken!” and wrecked sports cars for points? It’s still here, but it’s definitely evolved with the times.
