ʟᴇᴛs ᴅɪᴠᴇ ɪɴᴛᴏ ᴛʜɪs ᴏᴠᴇʀʟᴏᴏᴋᴇᴅ, 2000’s ɢᴇᴍ Tak and the Power of Juju is an action-adventure platformer created by Avalanche Software, and was published by THQ Nordic (simply THQ at the time of publication) in October of 2003. It was met with mixed to average reviews by critics, and was given an average rating of about 6/10. At the time of its release it was looked over by many potential players because of the bigger named titles that released that year (Jak 2, Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando, and DMC2 to name a few). You could play this title on the GameCube, PS2, and the Game Boy Advance (the format that I owned). Luckily for me this game released during my childhood ( I was 7 at release) and couldn't be bothered with the snobby opinions of "video game critics" reviews (let alone fully read them if I wanted to). Not only was this game awesome visually, the main character "Tak" was voiced by Jason Marsden (Max from "A Goof Movie" and Chester from "The Fairy Odd Parents"). This game was one of my first memories playing a Game Boy Advance, and couldn't be happier with this new title in my little gaming collection.

He’s cute, super cheap, and great for early swarms… but against fancy mid–late game units or big AoE, he usually just melts first and disappears. So I decided to give him his own exclusive item: the Bacon Jack Fusion Device. When you press it, all the little Bacon Jacks on the field fly toward a light point and fuse into Jack Hero. His HP and attack both scale with how many Jacks you sacrificed, so the more “fodder” you throw in, the more ridiculous he becomes. A big Jack Hero can both tank and hit hard – he finally doesn’t have to be bullied by Solo anymore. It also creates a fun choice: do you keep Bacon Jack as a throwaway frontline, or cash them all in at once for a single muscle hero? The GIF I’m posting shows the fusion in action and how Jack Hero fights once he’s on the field. 🌹Pros: Game is smooth, has quite an unique abilities with different roles it's great. 🥀Cons: Occasional Lags, even tho it's smooth sometimes but it's better than getting kicked out. 🎮 Gameplay: Great so far, im surprised that it has great potential even for a game with a new mechanic. 🕹️ Controls: Your choice of characters, each with their own unique pros and cons as well as abilities too. 💖 Overall experience: Great, thought it would be another random shooter game but it has everything you need; Graphics, Smooth Gameplay, Strategy, and many more. This is better than WZM, because of its capability of working with low end-devices.

Although the gameplay may get more challenging as you continue to later chapters ( especially when upgrading the memories ), it is manageable if you have the money ( its to support the gamemasters which sadly, I don't have...). But don't worry, cause patience and time can also help while playing the game. 'Cause like seriously, apart from the 'pay for better play', the trials and hunts still need weeks of dedication (like for the stamina/ grinding for EXPs...). I believe this type of gameplay may especially be loved by those who like combat systems (auto-play, upgrading, gacha, etc.). Additionally, I love that the players will be given gems on their B-day: that's a plus for me. There's also individual events for each love interest's B-day (I'm currently looking forward for Rafayel's which is on March 1). Finally, I literally love watching stories/dramas with lovers who have crossed space & time just to meet again (like I've watched dozens of CN dramas with these tropes) - there are clues on every interaction about this. I don't know much about otome games but i think this was the only one I saw LOCALLY available ON 3D so... another plus for me!
