The Hidden Ones - Mobile (ENG) Alpha Test Full Review

The Hidden Ones - Mobile (ENG) Alpha Test Full Review

7K View2025-03-01
Alright, so I got to check out The Hidden Ones Alpha Test, and let me just say—this game is shaping up to be a serious contender in the mobile fighting RPG genre. If you’re into martial arts games with fluid combat, anime-style visuals, and intense PvP, this might be one to keep an eye on.
From the moment I saw the first trailer, I was hooked and lucky I got selected for Alpha Test. The animations are incredibly smooth, and the gameplay feels like a mix between Shadow Fight and a traditional arena brawler, but with its own unique style.
---
Gameplay & Combat
The combat system is the real highlight here. It’s fast, strategic, and rewarding. Unlike some fighting games where button-mashing works, here you actually need timing, movement, and strategy to win. Combos flow smoothly, and the special abilities are satisfying to pull off.
One of the things I really liked is that you can mix different fighting styles, giving players the freedom to experiment. Dodging, parrying, and counter-attacking all feel great, and the PvP matches can get pretty intense.
However, there are some areas for improvement—some of the attacks feel a bit overpowered, and if the devs don’t fine-tune the balance, we might see certain characters dominating online battles.
---
Visuals & Sound
Visually, The Hidden Ones looks fantastic. The anime-style art direction gives it a unique identity, and the combat animations feel cinematic. It really captures the energy and intensity of a classic martial arts anime fight.
The sound design also adds to the immersion—punches and kicks have a real impact, and the background music pumps you up for battle.
---
Game Modes & Features
There’s a solid variety of modes, including:
✔ Story Mode – Engaging fights with cutscenes that add depth.
✔ Duel Mode (PvP) – Competitive battles where skill truly matters.
✔ Trial Mode – A challenge mode with progressively harder bosses.
The PvP is where the game will really shine, especially if they keep the matchmaking fair. Hopefully, they avoid pay-to-win mechanics, because that could really hurt the competitive scene.
---
Early Verdict
Right now, The Hidden Ones is looking promising. The combat is tight, the visuals are great, and the PvP has serious potential. If the devs polish the balance and keep pay-to-win out of the equation, this could be one of the best martial arts games on mobile.
Rating (So Far)
⭐ Gameplay: 9/10
⭐ Graphics: 9/10
⭐ PvP Balance: 7.5/10 (Could improve)
⭐ Overall: 8.5/10
Definitely worth checking out if you love fighting games with skill-based combat.
