Rocket League fans will soon have access to Star Wars content for the first time ever, according to an announcement made by Psyonix. From May 4th to May 16th, Rocket League players can purchase content based on beloved droids from the Star Wars franchise: BB-8, C-3PO, K-2SO, and R2-D2. The items will be available in the Rocket League Item Shop and include both bundle options and individual packs.
The STAR WARS Droid Bundle will offer a range of items, including a Decal for the Fennec (C-3PO), Octane (R2-D2), Dominus (K-2SO), and Takumi (BB-8) cars, four Wheels (C-3PO, R2-D2, K-2SO, and BB-8), two Toppers (R2-D2 and BB-8), the R2-D2 Player Anthem, and the "Droid" Player Title for 2200 Credits. For those who do not own the associated cars, a bundle that includes the droid content and painted versions of those cars will also be available.
Additionally, players can purchase the individual droid packs, which include the BB-8 Pack (Decal, Wheels, and Topper), C-3PO Pack (Decal and Wheels), K-2SO Pack (Decal and Wheels), and R2-D2 Pack (Decal, Wheels, and Topper). The BB-8 and R2-D2 Packs will be priced at 800 Credits, while the C-3PO and K-2SO Packs will cost 500 Credits.
Finally, players can claim two Star Wars items for free in the Item Shop: the “Rust Bucket” Player Title and STAR WARS R2-D2 (Twin Suns) Player Banner. With this new content, Rocket League fans and Star Wars enthusiasts alike can enjoy the beloved droids in a whole new way.
