The game creates a vast world that combines reality with fantasy elements. Players assume the role of a budding designer in Guangqi City, where they encounter various male characters and gradually establish deep connections. However, behind ordinary daily life lies a mysterious secret world. In the main storyline, players face choices filled with light and night attributes, which directly affect the game's ending.
On its first anniversary on June 24, 2022, Light and Night ranked fourth in the iOS China Game Bestseller list and fifth overall while maintaining its high ranking. In 2023, following the launch of the Valentine's Day event on February 11th, Light and Night soared to the top five in China's iOS mobile game bestseller list and topped the global interactive story mobile game revenue chart.

Gameplay
As an otome love simulation game, players take on the role of a junior designer at Wanzhen Group. They engage in strategic card-based battles to advance the story and pursue various types of male characters.
There are five male characters in total who appear as "Lingxi" cards within the game. Players can choose different male characters based on their preferences; each character has an independent storyline and romantic plot.
