Temporal control is a fun concept to play with, and this game does it well in incorporating it as the main gameplay.
Solving the stages require great planning and understanding of how to maximize your steps while ensuring the path back is still open.
By implementing the butterfly effect, the player can even get caught in later timelines as a result of using early sequences later in the stage (confusing? Just a bit).
The lack of a proper guide may confuse players who aren't used to clearing puzzles that can backtrack as it is being solved, turning away new players to the genre.
Even with guides on how the guards behave as well as tips on how to make proper use of time sequences, this game can be really challenging for the average gamer.
At the same time, it gives a great sense of accomplishment when a stage is cleared, as there are no additional hints to each stage after the tutorials.
Although the premise of playing as a cat with time powers may be cute, the story does not feel important, only serving as the drive to clear the stage.

Cat of Khronos - A Quick Game Review!
Cat of Khronos is a new puzzle strategy mobile game with lots of challenging stages to clear! At first, I was not that impressed by the tutorial of the game which felt quite complicated. I found the game to be quite unique as I had never played a game like this before and it was quite frustrating at first due to the complicated tutorial. But as soon as I figured the game out, the game actually started to get really interesting.

Cat of Khronos is a game that allows you to travel freely in the fourth dimension — time itself. You must use your god given ability to overcome obstacles in the form of lamp post-looking guards, retrieve the fish for some reason, and make it back in time to be transported into the next level.
If there was ever a game that could accurately convey the sensation of traversing the fourth dimension as a fourth dimensional being, Cat of Khronos would undoubtedly be one of the games that can be used as an example.
