Hello, everybody!

Welcome to Quick View. Where I will talk about game I play in a short amount of time and today title was Infinite Random Defense. Infinite Random Defense is Roguelike RNG-based defense game.

As you open the game, you will be greeted with the menu where you will have to enter your username before playing.

After inserting your username, you will continue to Tutorial Stage where it will teach you basic thing like placing your unit and selling it. However, the mechanic of this game isn't explained in the tutorial and that is what Im going to talk about.

MECHANIC

Enemy Health

Now, The game only taught about thing equivalent to "use WASD to move". This game have unique health mechanic for the enemy. The game have three available unit. Gladiator, Archer and Mage. The enemy, on the other hand, all have three health bar. In order, Red, Green and Blue, which equivalent to Gladiator red colour, Archer Green colour and Mage blue Color. What does this mean? Because the game dont explain it, Im going to guess from experience that your unit will deal more damage to enemy that have corresponding colour. So, Gladiator will deal more damage to enemy's red health. Once enemy Red Health run out, enemy will have green and then blue. Green and blue health bar will have the same mechanic as red one so I wont explain it.

Enemy Movement

Enemy will always move anti-clockwise from the portal and will keep spinning as long as it alive. You can speed up their movement if you confident you can hold on.

STRATEGY

Lets talk about strategy. The strategy is simple:

1.Put your Gladiator near portal, then archer after them, followed by mage just like the picture above. This placement will allow your unit to deal their respective damage as fast as they can, which is the goal of the game. Prevent your enemy from reaching maximum number.

2.Upgrade your unit. I dont really know what they do to be honest but higher number must mean better.

3.Keep spending money on rolling dices. Because this game is RNG based, you need to roll and pray that you got high level unit. Also, try focusing on getting unit you have the fewest.

4. After every boss wave, always pick Bonfire if it available.if there are not, pick what you feel like you need at the time. Bonfire will boost specific unit greatly.

CONCLUSION

Infinite Random Defense is a good roguelike RNG-based defense game that have it own unique mechanic. However, the gameplay can be repetitive and tiring. This game also new so I hope the dev add more feature in the future
