The Tyrant and his queen stood guard at the "gate", losing their child for all of eternity. Due to the excessive use of the "gate", its sacrificial power began to transform. Coveting this power, Odin led an invasion and slew the Tyrant in battle. In order to protect the gate, the queen would charm unwelcome visitors. The Moderator played a song to appease the wandering souls, it dispelled the black mist in Helheim so that the sanctuary can be entered.
