The much-anticipated Version 2.8 update of PUBG Mobile is set to release on September 7. The upcoming major update will feature a brand new themed mode Zombie's Edge, World of Wonders updates, Classic Mode updates, regular Season updates, and more.
In the recently released Version 2.8 update overview from PUBG Mobile, details related to the zombie-themed mode have been revealed. In addition to the two powerful zombie types Berserkers and Rippers, it's also worth mentioning that players are able to equip themselves with the Mutation Gaunlets and Mutation Blade to conduct powerful attacks.

PUBG Mobile is getting a zombie mode in the new update.
PubG Mobile will receive a big update on September 7th, with hordes of zombies flooding the battlegrounds and challenges, skills, and items for players to unlock and discover as they face the never-ending onslaught of undead.
From 7th September 7 to November 6, zombies will be flooding across Erangel, Miramar, and Livik, as the Aerolith has abandoned a wasteland loaded with abundant supplies and resources, which automatically grants those who enter a respawn card.
