Rainbow Six Mobile bugs and issues

Rainbow Six Mobile or R6M, in short, has been on a rough start recently, from the first closed beta that had optimization issues to the second closed beta that had severe server issues. Now the game has seen its most game-breaking bug since the release of Soft Launch.

You may ask to yourself:

Why is the menu screen frozen?

Why do I get kicked out of the match everytime I die?

Why can't I queue into a match and only get errors?

So on, and so forth.

Here we are to discuss these issues and bugs, although there are more bugs out there, and fix some known issues on the game. We will still discuss some other issues that has no known fixes as well, in hopes that the community will reach out to the game developers and fix this issue.

To start:

Error 1102

This bug has been bugging players since the launch of the Soft Launch. So far the causes of this bug is when: You die while running, causing for the game to seemingly stop time and freeze.

The only current fix to this issue is to turn off "Sprint cancels ADS option" in the gameplay setting.

Error 102

This error usually happens when you queue into a match, instead of getting the "MATCH FOUND" text, you are greeted with this error instead. But this has no clear causes or any fixes at all

Queueing again will still work and the issue may not pop up.

Errors without error screens or explanation:

Black Screen Error in matches/menu.

Although without clear reasons of it happening, it may be a cause of compatibility issue. Certain Android phones has different SoC or Chipsets which are Snapdragon, Mediatek, Exynos, so on and so forth. So far, Snapdragon phones are way more favored by the devs as almost every Snapdragon phones (Even the one I'm currently using, a Redmi 9T) still runs the game without ever facing this issue. Although there are still no clear explanation on why this issue happens and device compatibility may not be the only factor.

The issue itself is pretty apparent, the only issue is that people who experiences this issue is downloading the game using a VPN or using a really bad internet

The game still works and downloads without VPN, even in-game you don't have to use VPN. VPN makes your experience much worse, although you still need to have a good stable internet.

Cannot Install the game on Taptap

There are no clear explanations from the devs on why this happens. But it is speculated to be the same as the 3rd issue, device compatibility. Some users has complained about their Xiaomi 11T (SoC compares to Snapdragon 870) cannot install the game while I (Redmi 9T, with Snapdragon 662) downloaded and installed the game just fine and even played for a week.

There are no clear solutions to this issue

But my only suggestion is:

Step 1: Download a Canadian VPN and use the VPN (DO NOT TURN OFF VPN WHILE DOING THE NEXT STEPS!)

Step 2: Create a new Google Account and use it on your Google Playstore

Step 3: Download the game with the VPN on and using the new Google Account, as it should automatically install itself.
