Despite its pleasant appearance, it feels janky at times, as well as tedious and repetitious. Frequently failing to be anything other than a game wearing numerous features, to the point of failing to be anything unique for itself as a game as a whole.

Moonstone Island encompasses a lot of different genres and packages them into one cozy experience that’s akin to curling up in a warm blanket. Its gameplay loop is almost therapeutic in a way.
