GAMEPLAY Straight to the point! The gameplay is the usual Metal Slug gameplay you know and love but with much more added fun to it ! There are so many characters , vehicles and weapons to choose from and play with, this also includes the many bosses you will meet and fight as well as the multiple different modes the game offers besides the main storyline. Charecters! There are some of the many characters the game give you as you progress, you can make a team of 3 as u finish the stages and fight bosses!

SHOULD I PLAY METAL SLUG: AWAKENING? Play this one, especially if you’re a fan of the original Metal Slug series or like the simplicity of old-school run-and-gun games. Metal Slug: Awakening takes all the familiarities of this side-scrolling shooter and brings them into the modern age. It’s been a minute since I’ve played any Metal Slug games, but I’d be damned if I wasn’t impressed with the three-dimensional visuals, fully voiced cast, online multiplayer, and the barrage of weapons I could use to destroy all manner of freedom-hating enemies across the map.

Weilin Li -- Superpixel In January, we participated in the test of Metal Slug: Awakening. This brand-new Metal Slug mobile game is authorized by SNK and developed by Tencent’s TiMi Studio. Its closed beta test began January 5th and ends February 4th. Compared with the original series, the mobile game has changed from the original pixel art to 3D graphics and has done an excellent job in optimization for mobile platforms. It also reproduced many classic levels from the previous Metal Slug works while enriching the gameplay with several new game modes.
