As a big Dungeon Hunter and Gameloft fan, I was excited for this game. Having it made by GOATGames instead of Gameloft didn’t bother me, as I had faith they’d work together to make a fun experience. I was wrong.
🎮 Gameplay:
DH6 isn’t an ARPG like DH5 or Diablo, despite pretending to be. It’s an auto-leveller with a gacha system behind it. Within minutes your XP level jumps from 1 to 15 as new systems unlock to grab your attention.
Between the different menus to redeem constant rewards and XP is showered upon you, you’re asked to buy IAP bundles that promise huge bumps in power level. It means nothing though as all the loot is the same and even the avatar you select for your profile raises your power level.
The gacha system gives you lieutenants, NPC party members you level up like Pokémon. However, despite raising your power level, they basically do nothing.
Every enemy is easy, your abilities are over powered, loot means nothing. All you do is power level at break neck speed, redeem endless rewards that beg for your attention then grind the raid on auto play.
🎨 Graphics:
Graphically it looks and feels cheap. The art style is very “Chinese browser MMO” style, with an ugly UI that wants to be glossy but looks tacky. Character designs are all super generic.
🎵 Sound:
Voice acting is cheesy but serviceable and the music is mostly copied from Dungeon Hunter 5.
👎 Cons:
Truth is, the game is a reskin of an older game called Eternal Hunt Dark Ancients. They just changed the names and nothing else.
💰 Value for Money:
This is a shameless, soulless, cash grab that uses an established franchise and desperately tries to engage your brain like a slot machine in hopes you drop money. There’s nearly no real gameplay, no real loot, no real anything. It’s all a bad scam and a disgrace to both Gameloft and Dungeon Hunter.
Shame on GOATGames for thinking this level of quality was remotely acceptable. Do not play this game. I’ve never been so offended in my life about a game’s state.

I remember playing Eternal Hunt: Dark Ancients in July and I had no idea Gameloft reskinned that game until I played DH6.

So after playing the game for a few minutes, I'm sad to say that the game was just bad. I didn't have any expectations but I'm still so disappointed. The gameplay is just your quintessential auto play, auto quest, auto combat with very dated graphics. Somehow, DH5 looks so much better than this. The story was also just painfully bad with generic high fantasy plot. I didn't find any redeeming qualities from this game.

A nice game f*cked over by stingy devs.
The Good: It's actually an enjoyable game. It has a magnificent anime atmosphere, better than any other Ive experienced. The graphics and art style are top notch. Character models are lovely and very well portrayed. The gameplay is really good. The storyline is actually good, better than most other "rpg" storylines I've encountered. It's runs smoothly. The Bad: The gameplay, while good, isn't anything new.

Honest Review
The game itself is really good and has controller support right from the start. The visuals are okay, but 60fps option not being available on a 765G is confusing, considering 60fps ultra on HI3 and 60fpa high on Genshin are both possible on my 765g phone. The story stays true to the previous Diablo titles and storytelling is really good. Gacha drop rates are really bad. However, given that you can finish the entire story available without spending a dime, it's somewhat understandable. My guess is they're trying to encourage party hunts and raids. The gacha issue is easily overshadowed by its true MMO experience. It really reminds me of D3 on my Switch tbh.
