Dungeon Hunter 6: The Biggest Disappointment of 2023
7K View2023-10-14Now, I did really love the Dungeon Hunter series. Dungeon Hunter 4 was great, Dungeon Hunter 5, while full of pay to win, was still somewhat fun. But OH no! No fan of the Dungeon Hunter series would EVER expect the 6th to be THIS bad.
For starters, this is literally that "Eternal Hunt: Dark Ancients" that I played in July in early beta.. so I'm guessing Gameloft just bought that game and rebranded it. But, let me get into what actually makes this 6th input awful.
👎 Cons:
Filled to the brim with pay to win in the cash shop, generic idle autoplay "action rpg" (Auto combat is unlocked at level 16)
HORRENDOUS voice acting
Gender locked classes
Terrible graphics compared to the 5th Dungeon Hunter
Literally the same as those crappy Yoozoo MMOs like Legacy of Discord and League of Angels
And, finally, the chat, OHHH don't even get me started with the God awful censorship. Any word that contains the letters "ho" in that order gets automatically censored in chat.
The story is basically non-existent.

Wow...what a year, I was so hyped for this game as we're so many players that were dungeon hunter fans especially for 1 2 and 3. 4 was okay and 5 was okay but went horrible. We were very excited to hear about dungeon hunter 6 and hyped, sadly all came to an end on the very first day of release I played this game and was bombarded by a generic copy paste RPG game and reskinned games. As a big Dungeon Hunter and Gameloft fan, I was excited for this game. Having it made by GOATGames instead of Gameloft didn’t bother me, as I had faith they’d work together to make a fun experience. I was wrong.
🎮 Gameplay: DH6 isn’t an ARPG like DH5 or Diablo, despite pretending to be. It’s an auto-leveller with a gacha system behind it. Within minutes your XP level jumps from 1 to 15 as new systems unlock to grab your attention.

yeah this game is absolutely ass. I've been playing them since the first one and they started going downhill after 3 in my opinion. once I find out a game has an auto-play button I'm out. what's the point in playing a game that fucking plays itself. you have to really have a special kind of chromosomes of you enjoy that. yeah this game gets a fatass ZERO from me too for sure.
