What is the 'Decisive Battle'
885 View2023-10-27In the game ‘Sanguo’s Ambition 4: Three Kingdoms’, ‘decisive battle’ is an important game mechanism. After the year 194, every January, a random city on the border of the player’s territory will have a ‘decisive battle’ status. The ‘decisive battle’ city lasts for one year. If you capture it within one year, you will trigger the ‘decisive battle’ victory effect. If it exceeds one year, the ‘decisive battle’ status will be automatically cleared.
Specifically, there are three levels of ‘decisive battle’:
Decisive Battle LV1: After capturing a ‘decisive battle’ LV1 city, all the cities and generals of that faction within one grid distance from that city will surrender, excluding the generals in the ‘decisive battle’ city.

In addition, declaring yourself emperor also affects the ‘decisive battle’.
When the time reaches 197 and you have more than or equal to 30 cities, you will trigger the emperor event. After declaring yourself emperor, all cities will increase their reserve limit by 10000, and when you initiate an attack, you will have the ‘decisive battle’ 1 effect. For every city you capture, all the cities adjacent to it will voluntarily submit, including the defenders in the city. But declaring yourself emperor is not without risk. If your capital falls after declaring yourself emperor, you will directly lose the game. Therefore, when planning your strategy in the game, you need to fully consider these factors.
