A lot of people... okay, some people... a few people... alright, one person... no one. No one asked me to tell you this. But I still will tell you all about how you can turn ghost recon wildlands into a great military simulator game without any mods (or with)
1. GAMEPLAY IS KEY
By playing the game tacticaly you can often achive this immersivnes of a millitary simulatior. Try researching some close quarters tactics of the US marines for example. And next time, try them while killing the Santa blancas.
2. LOOK ARMED AND DANGEROUS
Choosing the correct outfit for a milsim is often considerd the most important part of the ghost recon milsim community (outside of mods on pc) because how editable the outfits are, its very easy to make them look like real life Operators, you can also fully edit your firearm, so choose one that fits your Operator well.
3. TALK TO ACTUAL PEOPLE (AND GO TAKE A SHOWER)
The game Supports up to 4 people co-op which is great because this means you can GO play tacticaly with your FRIENDS! Don't have any? There are lots of communities on discord dedicated to military simulators inside GRW, other than that the game features online co-op which means you can play co-op with randoms.
4. USE ALL THE TOOLS PROVIDED
The game provides tools like the ability to move and command your AI teammates using the Interaction menu, Or the wide range of cars you can drive. So use them wisely to achive an immersive experience.
5. IF NOTHING HELPS
if nothing on this list satisfied your militant mind than there is one more option, but that one is sadly only for our pc players here. So it's a farewell to the dear console gamers. That leads us to our sixth point
6. MODS!
If you play on pc you will be able to install mods which can change the game crucialy and make it a real military simulator nearly as good as Arma or Ground Forces, This opens many doors for you. But if you have a pc, why bother just buy Arma 3 and mod it DONE.

Frontlines is barely a military simulator but I will still include it here, it's an fps shooter, a genre which Im not a big fan of, that I found surprisingly fun to play.

Blackhawk rescue missions 5 is a tactical pve/pvp shooter with a quiet big map, unlike other games it has quests an aspect honestly didn't enjoy. Because of its a cartoony style it's getting 4th place. I found it les immersive then the other ones, but still ridiculously fun.

Ghost Recon Over victim of a new leak, it looks very dark
new Ghost Recon will take place during a fictional war called "Naiman's War" and will be played in first person view. It would still be a squad-based military tactical shooter with some inspiration coming from other first-person military games, including the Modern Warfare series, Battlefield, Squad, and Ready or Not.
Project Over takes place during the Naiman War, in a hostile southeastern country that saw hundreds of thousands die as a result of war crimes. The game's plot revolves around the "Ghosts" - your team - who infiltrate the war zone to complete secret missions and locate a traitor.
