Ever wanted to take on the devil in gambling den? Devil Slot Machine is pinball/pachinko style rogue-like tower defense that has players gambling their lives in exchange for a game with demons.

The game is broken up into waves where the demons launch an onslaught of attacks across the pegs of your pinball pachinko slot machine. These pegs are essentially your “towers” for Devil Slot Machine, each starting off as basic pegs with the ability to be upgraded or switched. Every time the devils’ minions hit these pegs, their overall number shrinks. If the number next to their icons is depleted, they have been defeated.

After every round, you gain health as a reward for your excellence and then are taken to a casino shop to buy slot machine upgrades. These purchases change the pegs on your board, like previously mentioned, to something more powerful and capable of wiping out the devils’ attacks, ranging from lighting strikes to fire balls. These abilities activate when the required number of touches have been met by any devil attacks or your own the upgraded pegs come into contact with.

Your life is always teetering over the edge whenever you buff out your slot machine. More specialized pegs will help you against the devils but carry more risk because of your lowered health pool. Not having enough powerful upgrades runs the risk of not being able to clear certain waves.

It’s this constant balance and strategizing each level that gives Devil Slot Machine a fun and interesting gameplay loop. One negative so far is that the English localization is still being developed, so certain aspects of the UI and presentation will look unpolished compared to the rest of the game.
