Dave the Diver plunges players into the shoes of Dave, a courageous underwater explorer on a mission to capture fish to help with a Sushi Restaurant. Dave the Diver is a casual adventure RPG developed by Mintrocket and released for macOS and Windows in June 2023. In the game, players control Dave, an overweight diver who explores the mysterious Blue Hole during the day and runs a sushi restaurant at night. As Dave explores the Blue Hole, he collects fish, solves quests, and uncovers the secrets of the deep sea. He also interacts with a cast of quirky characters, including his three friends: the chef, the scientist, and the inventor.

Initially, I reckoned this was a casual game, but after finishing Chapter 1, boom - it turned out to be an adventure game! The plot is well-structured, with the story pieces fitting together neatly. To my amazement, it also incorporates other music games, providing a rather unique experience. The game isn't too tough; even the boss battles are relatively straightforward. I was pleasantly surprised by the dual-control aspect of the game. It caters to your fantasy of fishing, farming, running fish farms, or even opening a sushi shop. The game is rich in elements: diverse types of fish, mermaids, battling evil forces, monster capturing, restaurant management, and more. Hence, I give it a 100% recommendation!

Dave the Diver is officially out on Steam and I had so much fun playing this game. With its beautiful soundtrack and gorgeous visuals, I found myself truly enjoying diving into the depths and getting fish for the sushi bar! I highly recommend you play it! Subscribe to my YouTube Channel:
