Been a while since my last review but my schedule is on the flip flop at the moment.
When this released I was thinking what edition to buy, and I seen the collectors and was impressed with what it had to offer so I thought to myself, yeah, this is the one. I really wanted to hope I didn’t waste £200 on a game I might not enjoy as I seen nothing prior to this except the announcement trailer a few years back. Let me tell you now, not a single penny was wasted on this I absolutely love this game. Whenever I spend time at home (which isn’t a lot now) I basically live in Pandora, the story was incredible, the outposts are great, and people say the outposts are like far cry games, well they are and they aren’t, since far cry 6 didn’t go down that traditional route of once you take something it’s yours. But the design and the depth and everything about this game is phenomenal and I actively encourage everyone to play it. I’m nearly 50 hours in, and I have so much more to do even with the story completed. Lots of side activities, lots of hunting activities, Easter eggs, and wonders. Play this game. PLAY IT :)

Resourceful review. I was on the fence, but I'm definitely playing it now!

So after a week of playing this game casually, here's my updated review: 📖 Story: I just finished the main story (at least for this 1.0 version) and it's decent, nothing mind-blowing, and totally unfinished obviously. What irks me the most is the voice-acting, some characters have decent voice acting, but english female Rover just sounded weird and out of place sometimes. I know Jane Jackson worked hard on this, but it obviously could've been better, specially during the epic final boss fight cinematics, it was visually stunning, but her voice could use some more energy during that, it kinda bought down the epicness of that fight.

Great game so far. Having played for a couple of hours I'll have to say great job from the developers. The environments are well done and there have been a lot of attention to seamless exploration. The short loading times are great and the option to disable auto right from the starting tutorial is just fantastic. The games dies fall short in the performance department due to the crowded servers and the lack of characters rendering and lag is a major problem at the moment. My device is past the recommended by a fair bit but the game can be described near unplayable around the starting town.

The game itself is really good and the graphics are among the best I’ve seen with this specific genre of games. Since I’m only reviewing based on the beta I felt there were a few minor things that needed to be fixed, but I’m sure they were just beta issues that will be worked out in the final game. For example, customizing your keyboard/controller is very difficult. Originally, I plugged in my Elite Xbox Controller to play this game and it was very slow and the controls were unorthodox to say the least. When going into the settings for it there was hardly anything you could do to change it. In regard to gameplay, as a player I felt a little overwhelmed with how much was available to do when just starting out. While it’s good to have plethora of objectives for the player, having a lot at once can be overwhelming to the point it becomes confusing and players are unwilling to sort out what is what. With all that said, the game itself is beautiful and has the makings to wipe its competitors out. I’m excited for the release and am eager to see what changed they make post beta.
