Ok, so 1st the grafic looks like a rip-off of the series pvz
2nd it doesn't let u build your own deck of plants (for me this is mot something I like)
3rd u won't feel like u play pvz anymore is more like gardenscape or homescape (play rip-off levels of pvz with some already chosen plants get tikets and with the tikets do something on the map)
4th u now only have one land mower which protects all lanes, and can be only used ones
5th is not anymore funny talking about what crazy Dave thinks, is just plain text to adapt the story
In the end, this game I see it as the worse of the pvz series (on the phone, I didn't play the garden warefere so I can't compare with that part of the series)
OOh, and almost forgot, is worse then the first release try of the pvz (when I played that in my opinion ratings of the gameplay I gaved to that 2.5, now this version is 1-1.5 at most)

This game is very separate from the two previous series.
Pros :
In my opinion, the previous and current soft launch art styles aren't too bad, whether it's 3D or 2D, it still gives its own characteristics to the game even though it hasn't changed too much. I really like how the animation is more movement than the previous game.
Cons :
They are really trying to make this game 100% mobile following other mobile games like Gardenscapes.

PVZ3 is bad.
We were all excited and hyped up for pvz3, and what do we get? Some random copy of gardenscapes. I do not like PVZ3 as much as the other PVZ games. The "rebuilding" function is a function i do not like. Okay, i talked about the bad things, what are the good things? 2.5D, i like the 2D but also 3D feel of the game. Ui looks good. Story is not that bad. Well, thats it, not mkre i can say about it to be honest.

I was kinda hyped when they announced the game but now few days after a semi global release they did disappoint us
Pros
Graphics are different than the 2nd
We have some old power ups and new ones
We have a better story than the 2nd
Cons
You can't pick plants before battles, we have to use specific plants
You cant upgrade plants or buy packs and ect
You cant play as much as you like you have brains(life's) 5 each time you die you use one
