This legendary 4x4 RTS is where I spent 2 years playing this game made friends along the way and enjoyed a truly amazing journey in gaming. Here's a a little story time.

Epic age is truly the best game in its genre features realistic generals with biographies and photo realistic portraits that have skills that can affect the outcome of battles when armies clash. Your squad can contain 3 generals and a troop unit type of your choice ( infantry, spearmen, seige, cavalry, archers. This game relies heavily on alliances and guilds and has a season based system. The game also features realistic 3d map that showcases different ancient regions amd beautifully designed capital cities or metropolis, mountain ranges, valleys and hills and docks.

You can choose between multiple civillizations which have their own distinct advantages in their tech trees and specialised unique unit types ( Japan, China, roman, hellas, france, bharat, mongol, vikings, among many others. ) you can inherit heroes and gain permanent additional skills. An the game has a rock scissors paper combat system in terms of unit counters augmented by generals which have powerful skills. Guilds fight for territory and you can occupy resource tiles capture another players main base or an enemy guilds city. Ultimately the guild that holds or captures atlantis and 4 other metropolis cities like (rome, Moscow, xian yiang etc) will be declared the winner of the season and become dynasty that doesnt stop guilds or alliances from making strategic alliances and partnerships and schemes and betrayals to ultimately gain this victory or even share atlantis between their alliances.

This game also teaches you how to assess your opponents armies strength along with his allies and reinforcements. You have to make calculated decisions on which armies to hit that your army can take or counter and being mindful of troop losses and winning calculated battles and when to bait opponents into thinking you will attack them to waste their troop stamina allowing you to exhaust stronger opponents. Or doing a timely garrison to wipe out alot of enemy units.

All I Can say is when it comes to politics this game shines the amount of schemes military strategies plots, espionage and betrayals this game has had over the 5 seasons I've played this game which is currently in its 8th or 9th season puts game of thrones to shame its the ultimate game for political plots and intrigues.

For my personal experience in this game I started in a small guild in my first season became officer of the guild and helped the guild reach rank 4 in rankings. The following season 2 me and my friends decided to make a new guild and was made leader and eventually through everyone's hardwork and strategic attacks on gates and our neighbors region we were able to occupy the Eastern region and capture all major cities which forced our neighbors to have a peace treaty and got absorbed by our guild then we fought the top guild and the 3rd ranked guild while being sandwhiched and attacked from both sides in a valley and survived thanks to strategy and diplomacy.

Eventually with the help of my members I was able to make our guild rank 2 in season 2 and achieved kingdom rank. In season 3 that's when things hit the fan we got merged with even stronger guilds and at the start of the season we were attacked by the ring leader of an alliance of strong guilds from a stronger server we did our best to hold them off whole season long but that's when some of my friends and guild mates jumped ship and blamed me lol.

Ultimately I thanked my members who stayed loyal and was able to broker a deal with the strongest alliance in game who was being ganged up on by 4 guilds and was able to make an evacuation plan for my guild mates and migrate northland to merge with the strongest guild to fight off the combined alliances of the 4 strong guilds including the guild that invaded our west region and me and my members became empire.

Season 4 is when I teamed up with friends from season 2 and started wolves of odin which now became a multigaming family that branched out to other games we were also betrayed and ultimately found true allies funny thing is on season 4 we were able to manuever the troubled waters again and eventually plan with other like minded individuals and became pillagers which changed the whole order of things and that's how we became dynasty in season 4 and destroyed all opposition and made them become pillagers as well.

In the end all the pillagers regardless of their previous guild affiliation became united and we all captured atlantis and became dynasty the highest achievement. After season 4 since there were no new updates I decided to take a break from the game and discover new games and that's how I became a game content creator here in taptap :)

All in all I had so many fun good and bad memories in epic age just wished the devs made new content updates.
