Games worth discovering

This game is a gem to be sure. You may encounter a few hiccups in the English translation but otherwise you're looking at exciting gameplay, deep tactics and engaging combat. I can imagine other titles like Cyber Rebellion and Reverse 1999 which feel similar to this but Cat Fantasy ultimately stands out with its unique and fun anime flavor.
π Pros: With several other gameplay mechanics woven into the narrative you won't even feel disconnected for an instant. A clean UI makes navigation a lot easier than you would expect from a game of such distinct moving parts.
π Cons: Of course being a gacha game you're likely to run into alternate variants of a favorite character. I'm not a fan of this feature in these kind of games as it somewhat dulls the sharp feel of any immersion.
π Storyline: The professional Japanese voice acting lends a nice anime quality to game, making it feel like a show you're streaming. I especially appreciate how the story isn't delivered entirely by flat Live 2D characters just yapping away and throwing plot points at you. Don't expect full motion character interaction but some imaginative and artistic storytelling might just keep you engaged some.
Now you can probably tell that I don't usually write reviews but I enjoyed this game enough to want to this time.

I have played for a few hours so far and itβs an amazing game. Itβs a very high quality gacha game with a reasonably F2P so I donβt think there is a reason to not give it a try.
π¨ Graphics: The art style is very unique and the character designs are so interesting with different characters from different regions and they also have specific accents depending on their origins.
π΅ Sound: The voice acting is great, yet I think the VA have not been able to fully express the emotions in some moments, and the script is weird but can be improved upon.

a gacha game that is absolutely worth playing
Pro:
- graphics: absolutely amazing. The lighting design in battles, ultimates, ui design, etc are just breath taking
- music: fitting and gorgeous
- story presentation: lv2d(characters and some cg art), cg, and amount of story per battle are all well made/designed
- Story: although I'm not a story person, 1999's story is interesting.
- vibe. 100000/10
- voice acting: GO USE EN VOICE YALL π‘π En voice not only has accents/foreign languages, it fits the game more than other languages. The game was designed to be played with English voice, you will be losing a lot of experience if you're playing with other languages. (Eg: Matilda is a proud French and she speaks French when talking to herself. She speaking Japanese voice would be out of character)

Initial impressions of this game: it's pretty decent. The gameplay is fast paced and addicting. It's similar to PGR, but with some different mechanics.
π Pros: The sound design and music is good, makes the gameplay more engaging. Voice acting (in English at least) is just OK. I appreciate the effort but nothing special. I like how the level up mechanics are similar to the source material.
π Cons: The story does not take its time. They really want to get you into the action and teach you all the mechanics.Β Some people may like that, but for me, it breaks the immersion. A lot of exposition to explain story beats rather than taking the time to show you. The pacing is too fast.
