This game is easy enough to play outside JP with a VPN. You cannot on IOS devices, but on an android it's quite easy. Very fun, very close to the source material. Great gacha mechanics as well. Only in kanji, so download a bubble translator as well.
EDIT: as some folks have asked, the VPN I use is OVPNspider. The logo is a magnifying glass in an orange semi circle.
The bubble translator app has a bubble that sits on the side of the screen and translates the current screen.

I decided to make this guide to help fellow JJK fans who want to play this outside of Japan. Unfortunately this game is only available in Japan.

Step 1: Installation
There are 2 things to install. First is the game APK (from here) as your Google Play store is unlikely to have this game available. Next is to install a VPN app. For me, I used ovpnspider after trying a few (like TunnelBear). Ovpnspider was the first VPN app to work for me. And it is free. I am not sure how safe the app is, so use at your own risk.

The best anime game i have ever played in my opinion, just need to use a vpn to connect to Japan and you can play it, i recommend you use ovpnspider. Absolutely love the game and i think you too will love the game.

It's a very awesome game in my opinion. Quite easy to understand even if you don't know a thing in Japanese. The story is more unique which I like very much. I also love that we got like 4 or more new characters. I enjoy this game, so I hope others will be able to enjoy it too. However, to play the game you need to use VPN, which is quite difficult because you need to find a working one. In this case I recommend using OvpnSpider.

you can't since is a JP only release. I use the app "bubble translator" to translate on screen text.
