The much-anticipated Honkai Star Rail 2.0 update is set to launch earlier than expected, breaking the traditional Wednesday release pattern. Fans around the globe can mark their calendars for Tuesday, 6th February, with maintenance scheduled to conclude at 3 am (GMT). Due to time zone variations, players in the United States will enjoy an early start on Monday, 5th February, at 10 pm (ET), alongside other time zones:
- East Coast US: Monday, 5th February, 10 pm (ET)
- Central US: Monday, 5th February, 9 pm (CT)
- West Coast US: Monday, 5th February, 7 pm (PT)
- Australia: Tuesday, 6th February, 2 pm (AET)
- Japan: Tuesday, 6th February, 12 pm (JST)
- Europe: Tuesday, 6th February, 4 am (CET)
- UK: Tuesday, 6th February, 3 am (GMT)
New Characters and Banners
- Phase 1 Banners: Start on 6th February, ending on 29th February with Black Swan and Imbibitor Lunae taking center stage.
- Phase 2 Banners: Sparkle and Jing Yuan light up the stage from 29th February to 26th March.

- Imbibitor Lunae: A returning 5-Star Imaginary attacker of the Destruction path.

New Light Cones
Adding to the excitement, version 2.0 enriches the arsenal with two new 5-Star Light Cones and signature weapons:
- Brilliant Fixation Banner: Introduces Black Swan's "Reforged Remembrance" and Sparkle's "Earthly Escapade," aligning with their character banners.
- Bygone Reminiscence Light Cone Banner: Features reruns of Imbibitor Lunae's "Brighter Than the Sun" and Jing Yuan's "Before Dawn" Light Cones.
