This game is very separate from the two previous series. Pros : In my opinion, the previous and current soft launch art styles aren't too bad, whether it's 3D or 2D, it still gives its own characteristics to the game even though it hasn't changed too much. I really like how the animation is more movement than the previous game. Cons : They are really trying to make this game 100% mobile following other mobile games like Gardenscapes.

I love the art style. The music is great! The gameplay is timeless. And offers multiple things to do after you complete the main storyline. It’s simplicity balances for casual and competitive players alike. I’ve seen people who barely play games pick this up and love it. I find myself searching for different plant combinations for fun. Although not as big as pvz2. It’s charming. Original. And nostalgic

I love the comedy, art style, models, dialogue, Tugboat, controls, building, and pretty much everything, especially the events that happen like every week that make every level insanely boring so little Timmy can win. But it has a major problem for me. It doesn't feel like the currency is useful. Now I know that's like a nit-pick, but when it comes to currency and deals it bombards you with everytime you log in makes it feel like a garbage .io game you'd see on a ad (like those games where you grow your army and evolve it was numbered gates that multiply, divide, subtract, add, etc.). It's also missing something all other mobile plants vs zombies games have. Options, and also level select, but I don't really care about replaying levels. I can't pick my plants, it's always choose for me, I'm on like level 38 and keep getting my plants choose for me. I'm fine with the given load outs, but I wanna have my own plants in my battles. Also every level makes me feel bad because I couldn't finish my defenses since it ended as soon as it started. In my opinion, this is worse than the second one, although the second one was hard as hell for no reason a lot of the time and done right impossible, I would always find myself hopping back on to play again. But ignoring this games faults and it's predecessors, it's 4 stars. And good enough to play and have fun. But if you want a better version, in my opinion, try out the first two. But my opinion might change once I get to higher levels.
