ELDEN RING - DLC Shadow of Erdtree Trailer and Release Date [PC/Consoles]

On January 11, a mysterious update appeared on the backend of Steam, catching the attention of Elden Ring enthusiasts. The unknown addition, discovered via SteamDB by Twitter user @Ziostorm1, resides in the DLC section of Elden Ring's Steam page. Despite rampant curiosity, the specific nature of this file remains ambiguous. Notably, this marks the game's latest DLC inclusion since the addition of a pre-order bonus bundle in May 2022.

After years of waiting, Elden Ring is finally getting new content. Today Bandai Namco revealed the first full trailer for Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, the major downloadable content pack for FromSoftware's hit 2022 action RPG. Watch it for yourself above. In addition to the trailer, Bandai Namco also announced a release date. Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree will launch on June 21, 2024 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X and S.

It's been just over two years since FromSoftware published Elden Ring, and unlike Dark Souls or BloodBorne, it has received no attention in terms of DLC content. The release date of their long-sought after DLC will be out on June 21st, 2024. It appears to have an entirely new world to explore perhaps a shadow world, with new creatures, weapons, spells, lore, and bosses to take on! That's not all! They announced Tencent plans to work on a F2P version of Elden Ring with in-app purchases, which generated widespread anger among the souls like community.
