Does Solo leveling arise do justice to it's source material?

So I've been playing the game since lunch and it's been like 3 weeks or so, I'm changing my old review to more detailed one.

The game is in early access so it's obvious thereld be bugs and glitches, though I haven't faced any. The loading issue is there coz the servers are meant for Canada and Thiland, people outside those countries will face the delay so you have to have a bit of patience to play the game.

Same goes for the core gameplay as well as farming, the game mainly focuses on time every story mode, challenges, gear farming modes has a time limit and you need to finish the modes within that period.

The game requires skills, if you are f2p there will be stages that you can't beat in a day or two(I faced that too).So youll wait a day or few level up a bit more understand the boss/mobs moveset and then you beat it. Again it'll take some time and as the game is mainly pve oriented you are not competing against whales so you can afford that.

PS- Chapter 8, Igris fight will be the 1st real challenge(assuming you're slightly skillful).I was stuck on that chapter for about 3days then I cleared it.

Let's move on to gacha-

Neither the best not the worst. The game offers you two banners(standard & featured).The banners works similarly like what genshins' does(if anyone had played it). Rates are 1.2% for SSR with 0.6% for the featured.It has a hard pity of 80pulls and soft pity starts after 64. The game also has 50:50 and the pity carries over to the next banner. Standard banner has a cool feature where you can select 4 SSR character/weapons as rate up.

Pros - The game gives a lot of free summon able currency/ tickets at the start and I mean a lot(I've done close to 500 pulls without spending in this short time ).

The gameplay is great and follows the manhwa so well. As well they used three types of cutscenes/animations for story...color manhwa panels (fully voiced),normal 2d voiced convos,and fully animated ones.

The game has weapons which you can summon but those are only for jin woo (I'm talking about SSR only). the hunter's SSR weapons can be farmed though it might take some time you'll get them eventually being F2p.

The game has original characters and they are pretty busted from their design to their kit . Also original story will be added on global release.

The sr weapons as well as characters are pretty good(some of them ) so don't sleep on them.

The game gives you 4 SSR weapons and one SSR character for free via daily logins and challenges as well as 5-6 sr weapons and many pulls.

If you are a fan of solo leveling, while playing the game I assure you will enjoy the game a lot.

Cons-

Yes the game has cons, major issue in this game is gold. Gold is required everywhere starting from leveling your weapons, characters, artifacts and the most dumbest unequiping an upgraded artifact or switching artifacts (+5 or above) between characters will cost gold. As of now there isn't a specific mode where you can farm gold on daily basis. Even though you get a healthy amount of gold per day but the required amount is just so much that you'll always be short on gold. So you have to invest gold smartly.

This one is for mobile players, sometimes the buttons doesn't responds and overall the game lacks a bit of optimisation.

So yea that's pretty much it, the game has potential if they fix a bit of things (which they are allready doing), this can be a huge success. At last yes it's a gacha game obviously p2w players will have a easy time than f2ps but if you are a bit pateint and has the skills you can compete with most of them .

Im sharing my progress so far not the craziest thing but almost done with story (except chapter 15).

Update - I've finished the story so far, man it was so much fun.yes it took me about a month as f2p, failed in certain stages multiple times tried many times and finally cleared it. So in conclusion you can also clear it being totally f2p, just need some time and skills.

nah not really I can play using the touchpad no control, maybe it's a bug that everyone is facing

are you on Thailand or Canada server? cause it works for me but will got stuck on the gatcha part where you force to summon 10 units and it says this roll is unavailable and game freezes. but I I understand this problem cause it's still on early access.

optimisation from what aspect? performance?, If yes then I think it already pretty playable on a lot of devices.

yes it's playable in a lot of devices. But on highest settings when there are too many mobs attacking the gameplay lags a bit there and then it prompts the pop up to adjust the graphics from settings. other than that it's alright
