Quick review just to get the word out. I stumbled upon Heartwood Online on Google play in the " first to play section " however I haven't done all research accurately.
From what I've heard in game it's a relatively new game that's been in beta or testing for nearly or under a year or so. It seems like it's a small group or an individual developing the game relatively often. It's a mmorpg comparable to runescape in terms of open world, economy, grinding, and skill leveling like logging, mining, leatherworking, (soon fishing and cooking). But comparable to old school pixelated pokemonlike graphics.
The game is grindy and takes time and effort to progress through to prevent maxing out and getting everything in its early stages which I'm a fan of because it makes gear, gold, and leveling up feel more earned.
From what ive witnessed theres no actual story line, but it has a series of main quest to aid leveling that involves collecting loot from kills for xp and gear.
**It is on pc and mobile, however I would probably overlook it for other choices on pc, in terms mobile phone mmos this is one I plan on sticking with absolutely to watch grow into a massive game**
I highly recommend to anyone who likes to play mmorpg's casually at their own pace, if you don't feel like fighting you can spend time crafting in many ways. It's a game you can stop in and play at whatever time of day and make progress. I felt the need to review it in hopes it gets more recognition for such a new low key game.
If you end up liking and trying it come back here and comment your in game info If you'd like to play together.
