My poor teammate🤣
4K View2024-05-29My buddy and I were playing Valheim, a pretty standard survival game with chopping trees, gathering stones, and building a house. We divided the tasks: he went to chop trees, and I collected other materials. Then:
Teammate: "Hey, the trees fall and knock down other trees!"
Me: "Isn't that great? Saves us a lot of chopping time."
Teammate: "Great? I'm running for my life in the middle of the trees!"
Me: "…How did you even get there?"
Despite the chaos, we ended up with more wood than expected 😁 and successfully built our house.
Then we got a quest to cross the sea and fight a boss. To avoid any mishaps, I decided to strip down all my equipments and explore the sea alone first.
The sea was calm, and the boat controls were simple. The channel wasn't too wide, so I reached the other side quickly.
Me: "All good, bring our gears and come over!"
Teammate: "Got it. How do I sail the boat?"
Me: "Just open the sail and let the wind carry you forward."
Teammate: "…This boat seems really slow."
Me: "Maybe the wind is weak right now?"
Teammate: "It's too slow! I'm gonna AFK awhile, be right back."
While waiting for my buddy to cross, I decided to prepare some dinner. Suddenly, I heard a scream through my headphones—
Teammate: "DRAGON! There's a dragon in the sea!"
Me: "No way? I didn't see any dragon when I crossed."
Teammate: "Help! I'm gonna dieeeeeeee!"
Me: "Stay calm, let me check what's going on."
The sea was pitch black, and I could barely see his little boat swaying.
Me: "I don't see any dragon? Hold on, let me change my view."
Teammate: "Aaaahhhhhhhhh!"
Me: "Wow! There really is a dragon! It's magnificent!"
Teammate: "AAAAHHHHHHHHHH!"
Me: "Don't worry, just stay on the boat, it can't get you… Wait, why are you in the water?"
Even though my teamate got eaten by the dragon, his gear floated to shore 😁which was enough for me to survive on the new island. Tomorrow, I'll go back and fetch my poor buddy.

My friend and I were playing a survival game. Then we reached the stage where we had to sail across the sea.
My friend made it across without any issues. When my turn to sail, I thought it was going to be a breeze, even a bit boring.
But just as I was about to reach the shore, a dragon popped out of the water and started chomping on my boat!
I tried to fight back, but I must have pressed the wrong button because I fell into the water! In this game, you constantly lose health while in the water! And there was a dragon right behind me!
