I wanted to love this game. I like the atmosphere, i love the tactical board, and i appreciated the generousity.

Ive spent hundreds of hours with the game, and have been among the top players for two seasons. I have tolerated the bad balance, the abuse of overpowered cards and combos, and the unfavourable matchups, as i refuse to netdeck, and always play unique builds.

I have seen the drop-rates decrease, and the duplicate-protection being removed, and still believed, that a huge overwork would come.

I have posted on discord numerous times, listing all the things that prevent Cards and Castles 2 from being great... And no one cared.

Now, i have reached a point, where i am tired. Tired of playing against the same hilarious decks over and over. Tired of the broken balance, and of matches, where skill simply doesnt matter. Tired of my stagnant collection.

Tired of patch after patch, that doesnt adress any of the big issues...

I hurts me, a lot, but i have lost my faith in Cards and Castles, and am leaving...

Okay let's start like that.I rarely write about games but as a fan of the anime and the games I am disappointed with the game . I played Dual links and it was an okay game with events and stuff but I got bored and I stopped .So when I saw that new game I was excited to get back but wasn't prepared for that. They basically ruined the game according to me duels are supposed to be fast phased battles and bow waiting for unlimited time for my opponent to make a move if he know he knows . Long stand by phase long draw phase basically waist of time .The other thing are those overpowered decks meta decks or what ever they are called cmon on my turn I am supposed to develop a strategy and I am sitting there basically watching how the other guy is activating endless chain summoning monster after monster above 3000 atk PTS with endless effects . In stead of trying cards and strategies you are playing with the same 40 cards of 2-3 copies so you can draw and do the same thing over and over again .All of the other cards are just for collection no creativity or thinking what so ever just repeat and repeat until someone with even crazier effects bust you up .

Have been playing this game since the release use to love it but now it seems simply useless, the matchmaking is just too bad, some of the heroes have been buffed unnecessarily and useless revamps take place almost after every six months (changing the appearance and the skills of the character that took days for you to master), half of the time in rank(server asia B) I have met with people who don't even have 800 matches, trolls, afk, intentional rank down and worst of all is that for their poor performance, I have lose stars as well as my MMR. Wouldn't recommend

I have played this game for a long time but I suddenly stopped. I have a lot of reasons not gonna lie. 1. Gacha have very low rate up nowadays. Unless you're a pay to win it's easy to get a cookie, but for players like me, a free to play player; It makes it more difficult to get newer cookies even though I have a lot of ways of doing so. 2. So many consecutive lengendaries & super epic banners among updates.
