pros:
- fast paced and fun combat

2 weeks in and the game still feels like an early release with many issues to address however as many are probably aware kuro has not disappointed in their response to feedback. the game is much more stable than initial release however the game still needs a lot of work done with audio and visual bugs as well as optimization issues occuring quite frequently. unfortunately the story does not impress so far with the exception of execution being well done as often cinematics immerse one in missions and the world. what WW lacks in story and world building it partially makes up for in combat with it's fast paced and fun combat that offers a skill ceiling beyond simple buttonmashing. furthermore does WW suffer from the same fate many other gacha games do: a lack of replayability/end game content. I will stick around for now and hope kuro continues to improve upon the communities critique in future. 3/5 stars until then.
tl;dr: WW has improved since launch but still needs work in all departments with story, world building, characters and overall functionality lacking. combat feels nice and fluid and offers a decent skill ceiling. kuro continues to communicate and receive feedback well. 3/5 stars

1 month? 🤔 Pretty sure the game came out the 22nd of last month. That would be HALF a month ago, not a whole month. :( Do you know how many different kinds of PCs and phones are out there? Each pc has different parts, different OSes, different versions of those OSes, etc. Its pretty much the same for phones. Making a game work on each and all of those PCs and phones is a huge ordeal. Some players are experiencing lags, bugs and and all kinds of unpleasant stuff while others havent encountered a single problem yet. The part about you being unhappy with the story, world building and UI are understandable, but for the bugs and optimization issues, lets give 'em a li'l bit more time, alright? 🙏🏻

you people are insufferable. stop dickriding developers when they're literally already being commended for their work in the critique you're trying to white knight them under. frankly what do you know about optimization and appropriate response times to get rid of issues? it shouldn't be normal to release a game in this state in the first place yet everytime someone mentions it little critters like you crawl out of their holes to defend shitty industry practices. stop.

It looks like they really poured everything in Wuthering Waves though, but still, I don't really know what to expect, especially since their other game, PGR, didn't have any game-breaking changes that would make the players love it since the last time I played it (I played it on release). End screen/character animation of stages is stiff, the story and how they present it is just plain bad and the UI became futuristic plain garbage that navigating through it is still pretty much shitty or maybe even worse than back then.
