Firstly, I would like to commend the game for being a nice open world role-playing game with a survival zombie theme. It's uncommon to find this kind of game on mobile, if there are any other there's only a few. For the past years, I've become addicted to Garena Undawn, yet there are moments when we have to stop playing our game, so why did I quit?
The game is full of bugs, which is why the original title "Undawn" needed to be changed into "Dawn of Bugs". The first thing that struck me was how poorly the beginner's tutorial performed, as if it were omitting some scenes to speed up the game's introduction. In addition, the dialogue scenes were awkward, with the same voice being used by both genders of characters.
In addition, I've seen that the game is not well maintained given its size, concept, and constantly fluctuating player base. It took them months or even years to introduce new in-game content. My theory is that the game creators merely keep the game running in order to make money, rather than making necessary adjustments for the comfort of the players.
The reasons for my decision to stop playing Garena Undawn, even though I like it, are as follows.
- Buggy Sidequest
Some of these side quests, such as hunting beasts or discovering new things, must be triggered by doing some action, but sometimes they may not respond, indicating poor coding.
- Buggy Mainstoryline Campaign
When the campaign concludes, you may become trapped without seeing the conclusion screen or the mission success pop-up, forcing you to restart.
- Hectic and exhausting Dailies
Yes, you read that correctly; the dailies take half a day to complete, as if they were a real work that needed to be done in order to obtain supplies, and you must repeat the cycle every day.
- Unfair Reward
When you perform high-level tasks and activities, it's unacceptable to receive low-quality rewards; however, as you go to higher levels, the silver coin reward becomes increasingly scarce, which keeps you from leveling up your character and advancing the game.
- P2W PvP mode
When fighting in player-versus-player mode, whales have a significant advantage over you because to the vast variances in their equipment and weaponry.
To be honest, I'm irritated that the game has become a complete waste of time compared to when it was initially released. The makers tried to save it by giving novice players fast upgrading options, but in the process, they also robbed them of some intriguing plots.
👍 Pros: If you like to play post-apocalyptic survival mmorpgs, then Undawn is for you to try.
🎮 Gameplay: Games visual is mediocre compared to earth: revival and once human.
🎮 Gameplay: It has interesting storyline but lack of depth and uniqueness are quite boring sometimes.
🎮 Gameplay: Very buggy main campaign and sidequest.
🎮 Gameplay: Has a huge open world map to explore secrets to be discovered puzzles to be solve.
Every game is somehow pay to win but i this one spenders are immortal to grinding players. It's free to play only beacause spenders pay and want have fun. They need lambs to kill. Good luck.
