Earth: Revival
🎮 Gameplay:
For a long time, probably a few months, I was looking for a game to play, and I was drawn to Earth Revival because of the media presentation. I mean, the trailer isn't well-known, but it's like a scifi film, with similarities to Pacific Rim and Halo in my opinion.
Third person is not horrible, but the UI is cluttered and will make you feel overwhelmed. The task list is difficult to traverse, and if you have a little screen, you will struggle due to the cluttered features on the screen.
I like how the game included daily events and time-limited ones, the variety of modes to enjoy, and the prizes you receive as a free-to-play player, but I don't like how the pvp modes are occasionally dominated by paying players owing to equipment quality.
📖 Storyline:
It's mediocre in my opinion; it could be improved, but it's plenty to satisfy those who enjoy reading about the game's background.
👍 Pros:
It's the type of game I really wanted to exist and grow on mobile. It's rare to see such a game with unique elements on it. The combination of scifi and post-apocalyptic survival game on mobile platform is a rarity, and I quite enjoy playing it for a while. There are some good points about the game that piqued my interest as well.
The visuals in the game are incredible, and if you have a powerful enough device, don't hesitate to max it out. From animation to effects, the environment is almost perfectly handcrafted, and you'll appreciate the appearance of its location, my favorite being Sundale Valley.
Each area has its own soundtrack to improve the map while exploring or doing the plot and side quests. I also enjoy the music in nightclubs and certain locations in Edengate, but I hope they cover it in English because I don't understand Chinese songs.
👎 Cons:
The game is only good at first, but after a while it becomes uninteresting due to the amount of grindiness presented. The higher the level, the more materials are required to improve both the character, equipment, and, of course, the base.
Now, in terms of farming, I don't like their vigor system because it limits how many mats you gain from farm every day in order to complete specific upgrades and crafting, and it also limits your advancement throughout the game.
Crafting weapons is difficult due to a lack of materials, and it becomes more complicated when you have to create special items in order to create the main materials needed to craft the equipment you require. It is so annoying that you have to craft item after item, and what is even more ridiculous is that there is another instant crafting feature while your character is not in base.
Also, crafting equipments do not do enough damage, despite the fact that the color blue, which is rare, is supposed to do more damage than the colorless basic items, so the problem we had to solve was to use some core to turn it into more powerful equipments, which added more materials needed to advance it.
Upgrading weapons, armor, powerarmor, and minamal is so inefficient. As much as you want to make it stronger, upgrading mats is too expensive and difficult to obtain from daily raids, and the quantity is insufficient to upgrade it once you reach higher levels 60 to 70.
I also forgot to mention that certain special materials required in the game, such as a nano coating, are locked by certain professions. What's annoying about it is that, while you can buy it at the trading centre, every item in their inventory costs too much currency, which is gold bars. Gold bars are so valuable and easy to spend, but they're difficult to obtain in large quantities.
In-game currency, such as gold bars, is required to develop your career; upgrading costs 10k, and the price increases as you level, which is sort of uncool and unfair for f2p players. You may certainly whale, but it will be quite expensive for your wallet.
🌚 The game must be highly recommended for you to try because you will missed alot of good things about the game but it can't compared by some well known ones on pc🌚
