Blade of God 2: Orisols is a 3D hack’n’slash RPG that clearly is an expy of the Soulsborne genre. The moment you boot up the game and are greeted with the game’s aesthetic, the inspiration Blade of God 2 takes from Fromsoftware’s games is readily apparent. Definitely not a bad game and has potential but the aforementioned problems definitely need to be fixed in my opinion in order for modern gamers to really get into the game easily.

The story combined with the mobile experience! The immersion and graphics, yes, yes, YES! To all of it! I had never gotten a chance to try the original game, so this review is built from an initial experience of BoG2:O being my first and only with the series but I was not left without a huge happy grin on my face! The game offers expansive story, so much so they've got all the main checkpoints looked after including English voice acting, and there are even some parts in another language I was happy to hear, the combination of language within the game helped to create a foreign feeling, like we were lost in these lands we traveled, thus creating a more authentic experience so I hope they retain this language combination (with their included subtitles it's no issue).
