I mean, it's Pokémon in MOBA form, so what's not to love? The game is fun and balanced, and the absence of a real-money gacha system is a breath of fresh air. There are events to participate in, which keeps things fresh, and a fair amount of freebies, although of course the coolest stuff is locked behind a paywall, which is the norm these days. That being said, the game is 100% playable as a free-to-play player, and doesn't really lose too much of its enjoyability as such. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who is a fan of Pokémon even if they've never played a MOBA before. Unite was actually my first true foray into the genre, and I'll admit that I wasn't a big fan of MOBAs before I played it. The Pokémon branding was the main reason I gave it a go to begin with, and I'm glad I did.

Here's a little link between Vizta and Moonton: the developer branch of Moonton was acquired by Vizta Ltd. In 2020, probably the same year when it was banned. This game seems legit, except for the loading screen, everything is identical. And the biggest upgrade is that now i can use my Play Reward Money to buy diamonds.
