Definitely play this if you’re curious about Artifact Seeker, an upcoming Vampire Survivors-style game that’s about defeating huge hordes of demons and monsters and collecting artifacts and power-ups for your character. There’s a complicated-looking progression system wrapped around the whole thing, but it’s actually still very simple: this is pretty much a Sega Dreamcast version of Vampire Survivors.

This is an amazing game. I thought the game was boring at first, since it looks like a very common first-person zombie shooter. But after I played, the game showed me some surprises and reminded me of an arcade FPS like Time Crisis with different levels and scenes. Besides I can shoot a bunch of zombies from anywhere coming into my screen, I was also able to snipe them with my sniper rifle, and use a gatling gun to sweep them out, and there are even boss battles.

SHOULD I PLAY HEAVEN DUST 2? This one’s definitely worth checking out, especially if you’re interested in Resident Evil 2 but have been put off by the sheer amount of terror and gore. In fact, just imagine the chibi version of Resident Evil 2 and you’ve got a pretty accurate picture of Heaven Dust 2, which is about a guy who wakes up in a zombie-infested research facility and has to solve a bunch of bizarre puzzles to escape, all while avoiding being munched on by the walking dead.
