We will control a Wizard who, thanks to his spells, will have to explode the balloons of the invading enemies, which fall from the sky, to prevent them from occupying the castle. To activate the spells he will need our reflexes and with just one finger we will have to draw the symbols on each balloon on the screen. If an enemy brings more than one balloon, we will have to draw them all to remove them, in some cases we will also be able to activate combos. Unfortunately an enemy will fall to the ground, the game will end and we will have to start all over again! The retro Pixel art style graphics are as beautiful as they are interesting and the gameplay is beautiful and frenetic! Most notably, Undawn trades in the more traditional mix of fantasy, sci-fi, and anime aesthetics for a modern world that has been wrecked by a zombie apocalypse. This game’s vision of the end of the world is anything but generic, though. Even though some elements are frustrating or underdeveloped, I can’t help but feel charmed by this weird little game.
