SHOULD I PLAY HEAVEN DUST 2? This one’s definitely worth checking out, especially if you’re interested in Resident Evil 2 but have been put off by the sheer amount of terror and gore. In fact, just imagine the chibi version of Resident Evil 2 and you’ve got a pretty accurate picture of Heaven Dust 2, which is about a guy who wakes up in a zombie-infested research facility and has to solve a bunch of bizarre puzzles to escape, all while avoiding being munched on by the walking dead.

If you love scavenge-grinding, THIS is the game for you. This game is really fun at the beginning. Then the cycle gets repetitive. Too repetitive for my taste but your mileage may vary. I know people who've been playing this game for over two years, so there you go! The game is basically: Scavenging->Sorting->Storing->Processing->Base-building (repeat) There is a bit of action but it's very streamlined and not the main point of the game. It's basically a post apocalyptic survival/scavenging simulator where you find leftovers and make stuff out of them for you to use. Microtransactions will save you some grind and progression will feel less tedious, but the game IS all about grinding, so, can you see the irony here? At times it feels too mindless and the lack of depth starts to get to you. Plus the food/water need is an unnecessary mechanic that feels out of place and mostly distracts/annoys you rather than feeling immersive.

Kinda meh. Feels like it could be the second "Will Smith The Game"... I'm looking at you, Undawn :) Horrible gunplay, cutscenes, zombies, pay2win elements from day one release, restricting equipment mechanics, etc... Pros: Beautiful map, interesting story, okayish graphics, map mechanics inspired/stolen from Far Cry 3.

SHOULD I PLAY NIGHTINGALE? Hold off on this one until it’s had a few more updates. Nightingale is an open-world crafting survival game made by former BioWare devs. There are some terrific ideas behind it, but it still needs a lot of work. After spending five weeks in the world of Once Human during the cross-platform test, I can say the game left a very positive impression. Despite some bugs and optimization issues, it's an ambitious title with great potential to shine once it's officially released. 🗺 Optimization on iOS is currently a bit ahead of Android, but since it's still in the testing phase, that's understandable and hopefully will improve. What really surprised me is the level of detail and the overall technical quality. The game does a fantastic job representing the PC version on mobile devices, which is an impressive feat on its own. 😊

SHOULD I PLAY DRIFTOPIA? If you’re a fan of crafting and like survival games, this is definitely a title to watch! Driftopia is a crafting and survival game set on a world that’s almost completely covered in water. To gather resources, I had to swim through dangerous waters, search for goods underwater, and drift from one island to the next on my trusty raft. The current version of the game is pretty rough, but the concept shows a lot of promise, and since the game is still in beta, I’m not overly concerned about the bugs. These issues definitely need to be addressed before the full release, but Driftopia is still shaping up to be a very addictive game.
