The gameplay is based on rhythm and precision: the more you master the drill, the more spectacular the experience becomes. The enemies are varied and well-characterized. Some require timing, others strategy. The boss fights are one of the game's highlights: dynamic, intense, and often divided into multiple phases, the levels are full of secrets, alternative routes, and collectibles. In short, it encourages replayability thanks to timed challenges, hidden object collection, and routes optimized for speedrunning. Its detailed pixel art style and fluid animations make the title visually captivating. The music is energetic and perfectly complements the frenetic action.  It's not a casual game: it requires precision, reflexes, and a little practice, but it's incredibly rewarding.

A Hidden Gem That Deserved More Attention Downstairs is one of those rare games that quietly hides far more depth than it initially shows. At first glance it may look like a simple indie roguelike, but the longer you play, the more you realize how many systems, secrets, and emergent mechanics are layered underneath. What makes this game special is how items and weapons interact in unexpected ways.

'Until Then' is truly a one-of-a-kind game. The intro, art style, narration, story, characters, music, dialogues, mini-games, and everything else were really impressive. After finishing the game, I felt like rain had washed over me. At first, I was caught off guard (especially because of the final scene) and soon felt the coldness of the rain. But then I was happy and content with how everything seemed to make sense. When it was finally over, it left me feeling a bit empty as well.

👍 Pros:  The style of graphics is unique.
And easy to save and read files. Perfect dialogues and story. 👎 Cons:  The menu of the game is confusing, and hard to find the button to enter the game.


The Legend of Tianding: This is a 2D side-scroller beat 'em up game with some RPG elements where you play as the historical figure Liao Tianding. This game unexpectedly turned out to be an indie masterpiece for me. With its engaging storytelling, charming protagonist, excellent portrayal of 1900's Taiwan, beautiful art style, unique and satisfying gameplay mechanics, interesting boss fights, great soundtracks, and multiple endings, the game excelled in many aspects. However, it had some unfair platforming sections and repetitive combat towards the end. Overall, the game's strengths outweighed its weaknesses, making it a remarkable experience that left me craving for more historically-inspired games of similar caliber.

It was certainly a journey as it's one of the few Indie games built by a single developer who truly wanted to create a fun and everlasting experience that encompasses the feeling of making you feel like you would want to stay in this universe forever, rather than to leave or continue forward to the end of the game. You don't want it to ever end or to cause harm in this simplistic world that feels more like a resting spot when you're done with all of your other games, after a hard days work, it'll be here for you waiting with a lot of dark secrets to be discovered around every nook and cranny.

Developed by Tessa, Voheen is a captivating 2D pixel-art metroidvania that blends a dark atmosphere, cryptic storytelling, and deep exploration within a mysterious and decaying world. The game focuses on immersive environments, skill-based combat, and classic progression mechanics that fans of the genre will truly appreciate. 1) STORYLINE: The story of Voheen takes players into a kingdom on the brink of collapse, a world consumed by a dark force that has corrupted every form of life. The level puzzle game Wando developed by the independent Taiwanese team, Polar Bear Badge Game Studio, is available on TapTap now. In Wando, players can embark on an adventure with the protagonist, Guodai, to save the tribe. They can use magic spells to alter the heights of plants and unravel the mysteries hidden within nature.

Experience that is headed in a completely different direction, creating a demo of the first chapter in 2D pixels, while the original is characterized by stunning graphics and engaging combat, instead, this pixel adaptation plays on the nostalgia of old-school arcade cabinets, similar to classics like Double Dragon. Again, this version may not have the stunning graphics of the original, but it offers something special: a simple and nostalgic revisitation of Wukong's epic adventure. And for those who are nostalgic for the days of pixelated side-scrollers, it's a small throwback to an era that many of us sixty-somethings still hold dear.
