I haven't had this much fun with an Online Multiplayer Roguelike; these days, games like this are generally only available in Local Co-op, making it difficult to make new friends or play with anybody other than close pals in real life or through your friends list. A Hidden Gem That Deserved More Attention Downstairs is one of those rare games that quietly hides far more depth than it initially shows. At first glance it may look like a simple indie roguelike, but the longer you play, the more you realize how many systems, secrets, and emergent mechanics are layered underneath. What makes this game special is how items and weapons interact in unexpected ways.

If you love it, support it. I didn't like it very much cause I was expecting something that wasn't just a slightly remastered version of the original. I'll still support the dev, I still like what the original had to offer and the rest of the content that was added in is sure to appeal to the die hard fans, but this wasn't for me and I don't think it would be for most people, who want more than the free version offers.

If you enjoy story-rich games with a diverse cast of vibrantly colored characters, Mondealy on the other hand is one of my all-time favorites. It was a casual game with no fighting, just a lot of walking and running around hugging cute boys, meeting people, and assisting them with their problems, as well as all the references, memes, and characters to other games and TV shows. There is so much to love about this, that isn't being appreciated.
