Most indie devs try to make icons that “look cool.” I did the same for years, and it cost us thousands of downloads over time. The app icon has one purpose, and one purpose only: Trigger enough emotions so that the player clicks your listing. Here is a few things I learned about creating the perfect app icon: 1. Bright colors win Your App Icon competes with thousands of others, stronger colors will make your icon stick out. 2. Angry or Sad faces convert better than happy ones. This is something I actually learned from YouTube Thumbnail theory. In my old company we boosted visitors by 24% by JUST going from Happy -> Sad face. 3. Simplicity beats details The icon is so small so it is important that the icon isn't too cluttered. If you love it, support it. I didn't like it very much cause I was expecting something that wasn't just a slightly remastered version of the original. I'll still support the dev, I still like what the original had to offer and the rest of the content that was added in is sure to appeal to the die hard fans, but this wasn't for me and I don't think it would be for most people, who want more than the free version offers.

You’ll find new card designs, a more streamlined UI, and we’ve added a new caves music track, composed by Henry Taylor, that adds to the atmosphere. For those who are new to the game, Hungry Horrors is a PC roguelite deckbuilder where, instead of fighting monsters, you cook and serve them traditional dishes. Set in a world full of creatures from British and Irish folklore, you’ll prepare meals such as Cranachan and Stargazy Pie to appease characters like the eerie Jenny Greenteeth and the formidable Dullahan. But not all encounters are so grim—helpful folk such as Bluecap and Wulver will assist you on your journey.

We will set off, in the shoes of a hero named Yasha, on a journey to a world equipped with time portals that will allow him to access secret places that, with the help of his friends, he will have to try to save the Great Forest from drought. It will not be easy to bring it back to life because the forest is full of aggressive creatures! Our hero, gradually will walk into the forest, will soon learn to fly with a talit and defeat the creatures by throwing, like a boomerang, with his magic hat. Each time we free a portal we will unlock new levels to win valuable prizes: New magic hats that we can customize. In addition, we can go to the library and understand what type of use that hat can have. It is accompanied by melodies full of catchy motifs that are never obvious. Here the mechanics evolve, the world expands and with each level we learn more about this mysterious place. The story evolves with us and the next level brings new challenges. There is no single path here, only our will will lead us to continue or stop.  How far are you willing to go to discover all the secrets?
