We’ve made some exciting updates to Hungry Horrors, our roguelite deckbuilder that blends cooking with British and Irish mythology. You’ll find new card designs, a more streamlined UI, and we’ve added a new caves music track, composed by Henry Taylor, that adds to the atmosphere. For those who are new to the game, Hungry Horrors is a PC roguelite deckbuilder where, instead of fighting monsters, you cook and serve them traditional dishes. Set in a world full of creatures from British and Irish folklore, you’ll prepare meals such as Cranachan and Stargazy Pie to appease characters like the eerie Jenny Greenteeth and the formidable Dullahan. But not all encounters are so grim—helpful folk such as Bluecap and Wulver will assist you on your journey.

The Legend of Tianding: This is a 2D side-scroller beat 'em up game with some RPG elements where you play as the historical figure Liao Tianding. This game unexpectedly turned out to be an indie masterpiece for me. With its engaging storytelling, charming protagonist, excellent portrayal of 1900's Taiwan, beautiful art style, unique and satisfying gameplay mechanics, interesting boss fights, great soundtracks, and multiple endings, the game excelled in many aspects. However, it had some unfair platforming sections and repetitive combat towards the end. Overall, the game's strengths outweighed its weaknesses, making it a remarkable experience that left me craving for more historically-inspired games of similar caliber.

You have to help the penguin clear the way to organize a big picnic in an old school environment with a soundtrack from the first 16-bit titles. You start to think about games like Undertale, DeltaRune, EverHood, A Short Hike, StarDew Valley and so many more that are all created by a solo or duo developer, yet they provide you with hours of pure unfiltered amusement and delight, as well as sometimes a very long emotional rollercoaster of sensations that will stop you dead in your tracks. Afterplace is right in the center such masterfully crafted works.

'Until Then' is truly a one-of-a-kind game. The intro, art style, narration, story, characters, music, dialogues, mini-games, and everything else were really impressive. After finishing the game, I felt like rain had washed over me. At first, I was caught off guard (especially because of the final scene) and soon felt the coldness of the rain. But then I was happy and content with how everything seemed to make sense. When it was finally over, it left me feeling a bit empty as well.

Maybe it could just be a bit of a burnout streak. In that case it would only be my fault. But I would also blame the developers for not really thinking about the long term players, who have been playing since very early access when adding in new currencies. Experience that is headed in a completely different direction, creating a demo of the first chapter in 2D pixels, while the original is characterized by stunning graphics and engaging combat, instead, this pixel adaptation plays on the nostalgia of old-school arcade cabinets, similar to classics like Double Dragon. Again, this version may not have the stunning graphics of the original, but it offers something special: a simple and nostalgic revisitation of Wukong's epic adventure. And for those who are nostalgic for the days of pixelated side-scrollers, it's a small throwback to an era that many of us sixty-somethings still hold dear.

Developed by Gameloft, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 2D for Android (2014) brings the iconic Marvel superhero straight to your smartphone. 1) STORYLINE: The story follows Spider-Man immediately after the events of the first mobile installment. Peter Parker faces a new threat: the mysterious Electro and other criminals wreaking havoc in New York. Throughout the game, Spider-Man discovers a larger conspiracy behind the city’s chaos, involving iconic characters like Green Goblin and Rhino. The plot, while simple, successfully weaves main and side missions together, guiding the player through rooftop jumps, street gang battles, and challenging boss fights.

You have to use all the 3D pieces available to erect buildings: houses, bridges, monuments, etc. based on different architectural styles from all over the world. Creatures of Ava is a family-friendly experience and therefore, comfortable. Who hasn’t spent hours searching for adorable creatures in vibrant, joyful worlds, with the aim of collecting them? I haven't had this much fun with an Online Multiplayer Roguelike; these days, games like this are generally only available in Local Co-op, making it difficult to make new friends or play with anybody other than close pals in real life or through your friends list. His mission is to unite the Greek forces and stop the Persian fleet commanded by the ruthless warrior Artemisia. Throughout the game, players fight through several intense battles, facing Persian soldiers, elite warriors, and waves of enemies attempting to crush the Greek resistance. The narrative focuses on the struggle for freedom and survival as the Greeks attempt to defend their homeland from invasion. Although the story is relatively short, it successfully recreates the epic atmosphere and brutal tone that made the 300 saga so iconic.

This indie game combines creativity, curiosity, and photography. It's not your typical action or strategy title: you simply slow down and enjoy observing a beautifully hand-drawn black and white world. Everything revolves around taking photos, solving simple puzzles, and helping TOEM interact with the various characters you meet along the way. He transforms ordinary moments into meaningful experiences. We'll travel through enchanting regions—from silent forests to snow-capped mountains, and more—while using our camera to capture small wonders and help the eccentric villagers. Every photo we take enriches the journey, turning the camera into both a narrative tool and a means of progression. It stands out for its unique, black-and-white sketchbook style. Each environment is hand-drawn, full of small details that invite exploration. The minimalist approach enhances the calm atmosphere, and the diorama-like camera angle adds depth to each scene. There are no combats or time pressures here, just peaceful exploration and creativity.  It's perfect for gamers who prefer thoughtful, relaxing experiences over frenetic challenges.

If you enjoy story-rich games with a diverse cast of vibrantly colored characters, Mondealy on the other hand is one of my all-time favorites. It was a casual game with no fighting, just a lot of walking and running around hugging cute boys, meeting people, and assisting them with their problems, as well as all the references, memes, and characters to other games and TV shows. There is so much to love about this, that isn't being appreciated.
