It was certainly a journey as it's one of the few Indie games built by a single developer who truly wanted to create a fun and everlasting experience that encompasses the feeling of making you feel like you would want to stay in this universe forever, rather than to leave or continue forward to the end of the game. You don't want it to ever end or to cause harm in this simplistic world that feels more like a resting spot when you're done with all of your other games, after a hard days work, it'll be here for you waiting with a lot of dark secrets to be discovered around every nook and cranny.

'Until Then' is truly a one-of-a-kind game. The intro, art style, narration, story, characters, music, dialogues, mini-games, and everything else were really impressive. After finishing the game, I felt like rain had washed over me. At first, I was caught off guard (especially because of the final scene) and soon felt the coldness of the rain. But then I was happy and content with how everything seemed to make sense. When it was finally over, it left me feeling a bit empty as well.

It is a narrative-driven mobile experience developed by an emerging indie studio, designed to deliver a deep and emotionally immersive journey on Android and iOS devices. Blending psychological themes, exploration, and environmental puzzles, the game focuses more on storytelling and atmosphere than fast-paced action, offering players a reflective and meaningful adventure. 1) STORYLINE: The story follows a nameless protagonist who awakens in a mysterious world suspended between dream and reality. There are no immediate explanations or guidance—only silence, fragmented memories, and symbolic imagery scattered across haunting environments. As the narrative unfolds, players piece together the protagonist’s past through cryptic dialogues, environmental storytelling, and hidden clues. Each location represents a different emotional state: fear, regret, sorrow, and ultimately hope. Gradually, it becomes clear that the world itself is a manifestation of unresolved trauma, a mental landscape shaped by guilt and loss. The deeper you progress, the more personal and emotional the story becomes. Broken relationships, painful decisions, and a life-altering event are revealed layer by layer. The ending remains open to interpretation, yet it delivers a powerful emotional resolution that invites reflection long after the credits roll.

Interactive Entertainment and released in 2014 as a promotional title for the movie 300: Rise of an Empire. 1) STORYLINE: The storyline of 300 takes place during the events of 300: Rise of an Empire, following the conflict between the Greek city-states and the Persian Empire. After the legendary sacrifice of the Spartans led by Leonidas, the Persian forces continue their invasion of Greece under the command of the so-called god-king Xerxes. His mission is to unite the Greek forces and stop the Persian fleet commanded by the ruthless warrior Artemisia. Throughout the game, players fight through several intense battles, facing Persian soldiers, elite warriors, and waves of enemies attempting to crush the Greek resistance. The narrative focuses on the struggle for freedom and survival as the Greeks attempt to defend their homeland from invasion. Although the story is relatively short, it successfully recreates the epic atmosphere and brutal tone that made the 300 saga so iconic.

Creatures of Ava is a family-friendly experience and therefore, comfortable. Who hasn’t spent hours searching for adorable creatures in vibrant, joyful worlds, with the aim of collecting them? In Creatures of Ava, the premise is similar, although the main objective is a bit different. This is an experience that overflows with affection, carrying a touching story that shows players the importance of bonds between individuals, understanding different ideologies, and finally, the cycle of life and its self-regeneration.

Most indie devs try to make icons that “look cool.” I did the same for years, and it cost us thousands of downloads over time. The app icon has one purpose, and one purpose only: Trigger enough emotions so that the player clicks your listing. Here is a few things I learned about creating the perfect app icon: 1. Bright colors win Your App Icon competes with thousands of others, stronger colors will make your icon stick out. 2. Angry or Sad faces convert better than happy ones. This is something I actually learned from YouTube Thumbnail theory. In my old company we boosted visitors by 24% by JUST going from Happy -> Sad face. 3. Simplicity beats details The icon is so small so it is important that the icon isn't too cluttered. For Monkey King: Legend of Heroes, we first used a clean blue icon with our main character(see the image) Then we swapped it for a bright red icon with an angry Monkey King… Store listing visitors increased by 109% in one week. It is quite simple: your app icon is not a decoration. It is an emotional trigger that decides if someone will visit your store page or not.

While stopping robberies and protecting civilians, Spider-Man slowly uncovers a deeper conspiracy behind the growing criminal activity. Throughout the story, Spider-Man encounters several dangerous enemies. Among them are the powerful crime boss Kingpin, the electrically charged villain Electro, and the notorious Green Goblin. Each villain presents unique challenges and boss battles that push Spider-Man’s abilities to the limit. The narrative unfolds through main missions and various side activities across the city. Players will stop robberies, chase criminals through the streets and rooftops, rescue civilians, and uncover the truth behind the criminal operations spreading across New York. As the story progresses, Spider-Man realizes that multiple villains and organizations may be connected to a larger plot that threatens the entire city.

If you love bullet-hell, great storytelling, and, of course, above all else, games that are free and very fun to play, than Wolfrush is a game you need to check out now! If you enjoy story-rich games with a diverse cast of vibrantly colored characters, Mondealy on the other hand is one of my all-time favorites. It was a casual game with no fighting, just a lot of walking and running around hugging cute boys, meeting people, and assisting them with their problems, as well as all the references, memes, and characters to other games and TV shows. There is so much to love about this, that isn't being appreciated.

You start to think about games like Undertale, DeltaRune, EverHood, A Short Hike, StarDew Valley and so many more that are all created by a solo or duo developer, yet they provide you with hours of pure unfiltered amusement and delight, as well as sometimes a very long emotional rollercoaster of sensations that will stop you dead in your tracks. Here the mechanics evolve, the world expands and with each level we learn more about this mysterious place. The story evolves with us and the next level brings new challenges. On the island, a band of bizarre enemies called Narlings steals what remains, including her precious mechanical drill called the "Grinder." Determined to get back what's hers, Pepper manages to recover the Grinder and begins her adventure through increasingly varied and dangerous environments. From sandy beaches to underground caves, industrial structures, and surreal landscapes, Pepper faces hordes of enemies and gigantic bosses, each with unique mechanics. The narrative is simple but effective: there are no long dialogues, but rather a story told through fluid animations and dynamic cutscenes.  Pepper's journey is a constant race for revenge, in a colorful yet hostile world, where each level represents a new step towards the final showdown. The drill allows Pepper to dig into the ground and "swim" underground, launch himself into the air at high speed, attach himself to mechanisms and activate platforms, and create incredibly fluid movement combos. The control system is surprisingly responsive, especially on high-performance devices. The gameplay is based on rhythm and precision: the more you master the drill, the more spectacular the experience becomes. The enemies are varied and well-characterized. Some require timing, others strategy. The boss fights are one of the game's highlights: dynamic, intense, and often divided into multiple phases, the levels are full of secrets, alternative routes, and collectibles. In short, it encourages replayability thanks to timed challenges, hidden object collection, and routes optimized for speedrunning. Its detailed pixel art style and fluid animations make the title visually captivating. The music is energetic and perfectly complements the frenetic action.  It's not a casual game: it requires precision, reflexes, and a little practice, but it's incredibly rewarding.

The level puzzle game Wando developed by the independent Taiwanese team, Polar Bear Badge Game Studio, is available on TapTap now. In Wando, players can embark on an adventure with the protagonist, Guodai, to save the tribe. They can use magic spells to alter the heights of plants and unravel the mysteries hidden within nature.

If you love it, support it. I didn't like it very much cause I was expecting something that wasn't just a slightly remastered version of the original. I'll still support the dev, I still like what the original had to offer and the rest of the content that was added in is sure to appeal to the die hard fans, but this wasn't for me and I don't think it would be for most people, who want more than the free version offers.

A Hidden Gem That Deserved More Attention Downstairs is one of those rare games that quietly hides far more depth than it initially shows. At first glance it may look like a simple indie roguelike, but the longer you play, the more you realize how many systems, secrets, and emergent mechanics are layered underneath. What makes this game special is how items and weapons interact in unexpected ways.
