Dungeon crawler or restaurant sim? Two great tastes go great together in this cozy roguelite!

Sometimes you want to play a cozy game where you run a restaurant, and sometimes you want to play a challenging action-RPG about exploring a dungeon. But what if you could play both at that same time? Challenge accepted by Cuisineer! This new cozy roguelite has players trying to run a hit restaurant in order to pay off your parents' debt. But making a five-star restaurant requires the best ingredients, and the only way you'll find those is by going deep into a number of procedurally generated dungeons and fighting the monsters you find there.

An Atelier gacha game? Atelier Resleriana is a beautiful slice-of-life game with limited gameplay

SHOULD I PLAY ATELIER RESLERIANA? If you’re a big fan of the Atelier franchise or are looking for a cute, chill gacha game, Atelier Resleriana definitely deserves a closer look. That said, if you’re expecting a full-scale Atelier game, Resleriana might be a disappointment. Officially speaking, this is a mainline entry in the Atelier series, but it feels like a spin-off. There are no environments to explore, and the crafting system is stripped down and simplified. It’s a fun, appealing game, and I definitely enjoyed my time with it, but it doesn’t compare to

This is a love letter to RPGS of the past so if you don't like reading - turn back now otherwise carry on down memory lane (⌒‐⌒) As a dedicated fan since 1995, video games play a special place in my heart and I am passionate about sharing my knowledge, thoughts, and opinions on nostalgic retro titles. These games may look dated but without them most of the games you play now may never of existed without the inspiration and you owe it to yourselves to play these historic classics.

Ready to time travel? Reverse: 1999 is a sci-fi RPG with incredible battles and characters

SHOULD I PLAY REVERSE: 1999? Play it if you love JRPGs, card games, or vaguely human-shaped collectibles. Reverse: 1999 takes place in a world where time is moving backwards. You command a group of Arcanists, which are basically like time-travelers, that can survive the shift between eras and must fight to protect the future. The story has a nice mix of science fiction and fantasy elements, but it’s the lively cast of characters that really bring the setting to life. I really felt invested in the characters I controlled, and for me, that’s what takes an RPG from good to great.

Yes, The Legend of Nayuta still looks like a PSP game, but it's definitely worth checking out

SHOULD I PLAY THE LEGEND OF NAYUTA: BOUNDLESS TRAILS? Play it if you’re a fan of Falcom games or old-school JRPGs. The Legend of Nayuta: Boundless Trails was originally released for the PlayStation Portable, so it’s a little rough around the edges, but it’s still very fun. There’s a great mix of action combat, platforming, and slice-of-life gameplay here, along with a charming story. It never reaches the highs of other Falcom series, like the

Rune Factory 3 Special blends farming, fantasy, and dungeon crawling to create an amazing RPG

Many years ago, when controllers still had wires and dinosaurs roamed the earth, there was only one farming series on the scene: Harvest Moon. The Harvest Moon series was incredible—I loved tending crops, raising livestock, and chatting up the locals. But there were times when I wanted something more. What would it be like to play a farming game with a different setting? What if there was a game where I could whack weeds and slay monsters?

River City: Rival Showdown gives me ’90s retro action I love and ’90s gaming frustration I hate

SHOULD I PLAY RIVER CITY: RIVAL SHOWDOWN? Give this one a go if you’re a fan of the River City Ransom series, beat ’em ups, or old-school games in general. River City: Rival Showdown is a remaster of the remake of River City Ransom, which was first released for the Famicom in 1989. That lineage might sound confusing, but Rival Showdown offers a great mix of new and classic elements: updated backgrounds, a day/night cycle, an open world to explore, beat ’em up adventure, and RPG elements that will get any fan of the original hooked. It’s not modernized enough to get rid of a lot of the more frustrating parts of classic games, though, so you’ll need a little bit of a masochistic streak to really fall in love with this one.

Crafting game lovers won’t want to miss this cozy RPG

WitchSpring R is a simple but addictive RPG that’s all about collecting items and crafting potions. It’s a remake of the first title in a popular series of mobile games, but it also has a lot in common with another game series: Atelier. I’m a huge Atelier fan, and WitchSpring R definitely captures the cozy slice-of-life qualities that makes those games great. The game revolves around Pieberry, an adorable witch who would like nothing more than to spend her days eating the best pie that the world has to offer. Unfortunately for her, WitchSpring R takes place in a world where magic users are being hunted down. This means she has to dodge attacks from enemy soldiers while she’s exploring or gathering ingredients.

An upgrade over the old Medabots RPGs from the gba

If you played Medabots Metabee or Rokusho version you'll understand most of the mechanics of Medarot S, although you'll need to learn the new ones. As i said before, this game is very similar to the RPGs. Here there is no trading afaik, but you have a good ammount of pve and pvp content. Obtaining new medabots and medafighters is reasonably easy, medarot s even have fp points obtained by using medabots from other players to pull on a special banner.

Zenless Zone Zero is like Persona!? [Reaction and Evaluation]

This is truly surprising. I'm not a huge admirer of MiHoYo and their work, but reaching out to players that are specifically enamored with Persona and it's atmosphere in terms of bonding, gameplay, and music / story is a refreshing change of pace that hopefully result in fresh new concepts from other developers willing to reach out. It's difficult to suppose it wouldn't, given that the game has already gathered over 10 million pre-registered users in several months, and has undoubtedly risen even higher since its recent showcase and announcement. Don't forget to

Is this the next Nier: Automata?

When Nier: Automata released in 2017, it proved that stories about cold, "emotionless" robots could actually be really powerful. Now publisher NIS America and developer Furyu Corporation will be attempting to mine a similar vein with the upcoming Crymachina. Like Nier: Automata, Crymachina is an action-RPG set in a postapocalyptic world and following a bunch of robot girls. In this dark future, these robot girls have to fight and destroy enemies in an attempt to become "Real Humans." But as you can see in the story trailer above, not all of the robots are convinced that becoming a "Real Human" is worth it.

I can't wait for Persona 5 Tactica even with the goofy chibi character models

When Atlus revealed Persona 5 Tactica at the Xbox Games Showcase in June, it caused a bit of a stir among the Persona fan base. On the one hand, it's a new Persona game, and that's awesome! On the other, a lot of fans weren't totally sold on the super-deformed chibi style for the new character models in this spin-off. Well, I can't speak for any other fans, but speaking for myself, I cannot wait.

Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia | Android

It was developed by Square Enix, known for its ability to transform the epic Final Fantasy universe into an immersive and tactical experience. STORYLINE: The game revolves around the conflict between two deities: Materia and Spiritus, embodiments of chaos and order, respectively. In a world where different Final Fantasy universes intersect, heroes and villains from every era are summoned to fight and restore balance. Each chapter of the game explores the lives, relationships, and motivations of the characters, allowing the player to relive iconic moments from each title in the saga. The narrative cutscenes are richly detailed, with deep dialogue and animated sequences that enhance the feeling of being immersed in the Final Fantasy universe, making the story engaging for both longtime fans and newcomers.

WWE meets RPG in a colorful toy box adventure - WrestleQuest Quick Review

SHOULD I PLAY WRESTLEQUEST? Definitely play it if you’re at all a fan of wrestling games and old-school, turn-based RPGs. WrestleQuest may be a wrestling game, but it plays more like Super Mario RPG than AEW: Fight Forever. I played as (and fought against) action figures inspired by legendary wrestlers—and even ran into some characters officially licensed from wrestlers like “Macho Man” Randy Savage, who’s basically this world’s god. Wrestling plus RPG may seem like a strange mix, but it works beautifully, coming together as a love letter to both the drama of the squared circle and the imagination and adventure of SNES-era role-playing games.
