Regarding these two games, I don't know why, but I feel more comfortable playing GnG both in terms of appearance and gameplay. I don't know whether it's because I started playing GnG earlier than DNDM or maybe because there aren't that many DNDM players (I mean not yet). DNDM is definitely not a bad game. Wizard with a Gun mixes the resource-collecting and monster-fighting of sandbox survival gameplay with a complex system of spell upgrading and equipment enhancing. Outside of a bland tutorial, everything else in this game feels irresistibly good. TIME PLAYED I played Wizard with a Gun for four hours. I’ve defeated the first boss and am trying to beat the second boss. I’ve built nearly every research table and I’m currently close to maxing out my poison and ice spells.

SHOULD I PLAY WELCOME TO PARADIZE? You can safely skip this one, unless you really can’t get enough basic survival crafting action. That’s all the gameplay you’re going to find in Welcome to ParadiZe, although it’s wrapped in a charmingly corny comedy wrapper that helps smooth over all the parts that don’t make sense. On a technical level it works just fine and it does what it sets out to do, but this is a mechanically unambitious game that’s not interesting to play.
