It is a festive 2.5D platformer that lets us enter the world of Dr. Seuss's beloved character, the Grinch; in reality it is the porting from Nintendo Switch, PS4, Ps5, PC and steam to Android/iOS. It is inspired by the 2000 film of the same name, here we will take on the role of the Grinch and his faithful dog Max as we embark on a mission to steal all the presents in Who-ville. It combines elements of stealth, puzzle solving and offering a variety of gadgets and abilities (a stealthy Santa Claus costume, a candy cane lasso and a jumping jetpack). What is striking is the Italian transposition with its colorful and imaginative visual elements inspired by the original illustrations of Dr. Seuss in a tale that enchants. The controls and puzzles of the game are designed to be accessible to all age groups, making it a gaming experience suitable for the whole family. A flaw?  The gameplay is short.

Maybe this is not an accurate platformer but I must admit that since I first met him I fell completely in love. Since this game brings music inspired by the 80s, a retro touch that when playing makes it more alive. It is a futuristic retro game but dragging the 80's, in which the ship has to be careful when moving to the track, however, time is numbered, since the training and will serve as enough support, because for the next track, it will have to be done in less time.

Others have already nominated some very good and hard platformers and I would like to nominate my personal favourite, Celeste. In Celeste, you play as a girl who is climbing a mountain to confront her fears. Throughout the mountain, there are several unique areas to explore and characters to meet. The game is insanely challenging to say the least but everything seems fair when you reach the top: the peak of the mountain. It is the most satisfying feeling ever and I cannot convey it though words only.

HAAK is a Metroidvania-Platformer. I really enjoyed the game from start to finish. The main quests are just so good because of smooth progression of the game. Side quest are also worth the time to do them. Just was felt sad to end it. I played this game on my Android phone, sometimes with controller to make it a little easier to beat the bosses. 📖 Storyline: The game takes place in a world ravaged by disaster. The once glorious city has been reduced to ruins, and the survivors struggle for survival. In the south, a land called Sanho has mostly remained unaffected by the calamity due to its unique geographical environment and has grown into something of a sanctuary. The protagonist, Haak, is a traveler from a small northern town. He chose to leave his home and ventured south to survive.

PLAY IT OR SKIP IT? If you’ve got any appreciation for the Metroidvania style of game at all, then you owe it to yourself to play Afterimage. Coming off a successful Kickstarter campaign just a year ago, developer Aurogon Shanghai has released the next masterpiece in a masterpiece-heavy genre. With tight controls, compelling progression and exploration, and especially a stunning hand-drawn art style, Afterimage pays homage to the classics while also undeniably forging its own strong identity via a fascinating and diverse fantasy world. It’s really good.

Great game, Thought it was smash clone… It is but a good one that is just different enough but haves the same core mechanics of Smash but free. Now I game if 5 stars because this game is great but not entirely amazing, The issues I have it the characters some feel a little to good and some feel bad to play and clunky. Ranked is kind of a mess as well lag switchers and cheaters in the higher ranks as well, But the games where it was legit that is where the fun is!

Brawlhalla, perhaps it's not an actual platformer or maybe it is I'm not quite sure what the platformer genre is, but this game is definitely quite challenging, it's not going to be quite easy to learn each characters move set, but when you do it's going to be fun to test your skills against people

Actually I really-really love this game. And so is everyone else. If you see around, the other releases cost 10× this one, so play this one instead. That is.... If your phone can actually handle heavy games. No wonder the game is badly reviewed on Play Store. Only ⭐ 3.5??? Most of them caused by performance issue on low end Helio phones that's pushed beyond recognition to play a AAA release. I mean Handy games should put a proper minimum requirements on the page so people at least know what to expect!

SHOULD I PLAY WORLDLESS? Give this one a miss. Worldless has some ideas that are neat in theory, but frequently end up feeling like they were implemented by someone unfamiliar with the concept of video games. Particularly aggravating is the combat, which stops the game’s free exploration for a stodgy back and forth turn-based battle system. Combine that with frustrating traversal puzzles in which errors drop you back to the beginning, and this beautiful abstract trip turns into a slog that just isn’t worth making. Embark on a thought-provoking odyssey in "ENDINGS," a game that beckons players into the enigmatic space between life and death. With 23 unique levels, this title promises a blend of platforming challenges, mind-bending puzzles, and an original narrative. PLAY IT OR SKIP IT? Play it! Doomblade is a challenging but charming Metroidvania that gives off Hollow Knight vibes but manages to have a unique identity all its own. Stepping into the shoes of a tiny, tentacled creature known as Gloom Girl, I picked up an evil, sentient sword and set out on an intense adventure to take out the Dread Lords, otherworldly baddies who’ve wiped out the Gloomfolk and created a dystopian world. That adventure challenged my skills as much as anything I’ve played this year, but it was well worth fighting through to explore this wild, interesting world.

If you played the original Blasphemous anytime since it came out in 2019, then you know it was a disturbingly bloody little game that proved that pixel-art graphics can still bring the gore and grossness. And if you played it, you'll also know that on top of being filled with messed up enemies and cutscenes, it was also an extremely good Metroidvania. But whether you played the first game or not, you should take note of the impending release of

This city provides light and life to all the land. At the top of the city stands the Spire Of Light which shines with the power of the stories contained in the Bible.  Meanwhile Ancora is still recovering from the attack of the Great Shadow, his greatest enemy intent on stealing his 11 exciting missions of biblical stories: Messages from the Angels (the angel Gabriel appears to Mary, Angels and Shepherds (the birth of Jesus), Jesus and the Fishermen (Jesus calls his first disciples), etc. The Great Shadow was defeated by the simplest of treasures: a simple wooden cup (the Holy Grail) that symbolizes the greatest story of the entire saga, unfortunately many of the stories were lost in the attack and the Spire has faded. It will be our task to recover them. It is a world-famous digital title where the stories of the Bible come to life for the opportunity to discover Jesus and engage with the passages of the Bible. SHOULD I PLAY PRINCE OF PERSIA: THE LOST CROWN? Yes! As a long-time fan of the Prince of Persia franchise, I was excited to see it coming back, but even gamers who are totally unfamiliar with previous games should be able to find plenty to love in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. This reboot puts players into the role of Sargon, a warrior of Persia who must venture into the dangerous region of Mount Qaf after the prince is kidnapped. In gameplay terms, that means exploring a fascinating region in the form of a tightly designed 2D Metroidvania-style adventure.

SHOULD I PLAY SONIC SUPERSTARS? Play it, especially if you’re an old-school Sonic the Hedgehog fan or just love platformers. Sonic Superstars is the latest game to take its franchise back to basics, and I love it! Jumping into this 2D adventure felt just like playing a classic Sonic game. Although the lack of voice acting (or dialogue at all, really) reminded me of what I hated about that era, Sonic Superstars

Enjoy my experience through this awesome platformer.  I really love the look and feel especially when it comes to the boss battles.  Very fun!

While it may have been weak and lacking in some areas. It was definitely something that held me over until more games are released. In essence, the game incorporates many components from both games, to the point that they leave a lot to be desired; nonetheless, it remains fascinating and enjoyable. Ugly is a fantastic puzzle platformer that punches far above its weight in the mobile gaming space. Combining gorgeously illustrated artwork and environments with a hauntingly somber and melancholic ambience and soundtrack, Ugly honestly deserves to be sued for false advertising. This game is damn beautiful. But a game’s visuals can only take it so far. Luckily, Ugly is also held up by extremely competent platforming and deceptively challenging puzzles.
