Mega Man meets roguelike action in this brutally hard 2D platformer - 30XX Quick Review

SHOULD I PLAY 30XX? If you’re a fan of the Mega Man series, 30XX is a game you won’t want to miss! It’s basically a roguelite version of Mega Man X, and that combination is just as amazing as it sounds. Even if you’re not big on Mega Man, there are plenty of other reasons to check this title out, like the gorgeous graphics, smooth controls, and insanely addictive gameplay loop. If that’s not enough to sell you on the game, it also has a level editor, couch co-op, and online gameplay.

Jusant's unique storytelling and gameplay are right at the top of the mountain

SHOULD I PLAY JUSANT? Play this one, especially if you like platformers, puzzlers, or just outside-of-the-box storytelling. Jusant (French for ‘receding tide’) is a classic example of show-don’t-tell storytelling and is one of those games that’s really hard to nail down in a particular genre. That being said, climbing up a virtual mountain has never felt so relaxing, frustrating, and rewarding in what is probably one of the most unique gaming experiences I’ve had this year.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder is the best 2D Mario game in decades—and it also has dancing piranha plants

Not long after I started Super Mario Bros. Wonder, I was treated to an impromptu musical number. The mountains in the background bounced in time with the music. Piranha plants sang in perfect harmony. Some of them even jumped out of their pipes so that they could shake what their mama gave them. It’s the kind of showstopping scene that some games might save for a later act, but Super Mario Bros. Wonder

This first-person parkour game is the perfect follow-up to Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty

SHOULD I PLAY GHOSTRUNNER 2? If you love the cyberpunk aesthetic or are looking for something with a similar vibe to play after wrapping up Cyberpunk 2077’s new DLC, then yes, definitely give this one a shot. Ghostrunner 2 is the sequel to a first-person sci-fi ninja game that launched back in 2020. That first game was already an awesome, adrenaline-pumping journey through a messed up neon future, but this one amps everything up to eleven. It is a supremely challenging, brutal, and beautiful game that deserves your attention.

HAAK is a Metroidvania-Platformer. I really enjoyed the game from start to finish. The main quests are just so good because of smooth progression of the game. Side quest are also worth the time to do them. Just was felt sad to end it. I played this game on my Android phone, sometimes with controller to make it a little easier to beat the bosses. 📖 Storyline: The game takes place in a world ravaged by disaster. The once glorious city has been reduced to ruins, and the survivors struggle for survival. In the south, a land called Sanho has mostly remained unaffected by the calamity due to its unique geographical environment and has grown into something of a sanctuary. The protagonist, Haak, is a traveler from a small northern town. He chose to leave his home and ventured south to survive.

[SPOILERS] BŌ THE HOLLOW KNIGHT & ORI LOVE CHILD

While it may have been weak and lacking in some areas. It was definitely something that held me over until more games are released. In essence, the game incorporates many components from both games, to the point that they leave a lot to be desired; nonetheless, it remains fascinating and enjoyable. Consider following me on my other Social Media platforms for, Giveaways and more:

Maybe many people don't know this game.. but I grew up playing this game. It's Cave Story a.k.a Doukutsu Monogatari. Well.. I guess I can say it's an underrated game. It's a pixelated game developed by a Japanese game studio named Pixel and published by Nicalis. Not only the most challenging platformer, but to me it's also the most memorable and sweetest story-based game. The gameplay and all of its soundtracks are great!

The best (and best-looking) Metroidvania since Hollow Knight - Afterimage Quick Review

PLAY IT OR SKIP IT? If you’ve got any appreciation for the Metroidvania style of game at all, then you owe it to yourself to play Afterimage. Coming off a successful Kickstarter campaign just a year ago, developer Aurogon Shanghai has released the next masterpiece in a masterpiece-heavy genre. With tight controls, compelling progression and exploration, and especially a stunning hand-drawn art style, Afterimage pays homage to the classics while also undeniably forging its own strong identity via a fascinating and diverse fantasy world. It’s really good.

One of the best modern Metroidvanias gets an even better sequel - Blasphemous 2 Quick Review

SHOULD I PLAY BLASPHEMOUS 2? This is the easiest “YES” I’ve given in ages, unless you can't handle how nasty it is. Blasphemous 2 is a sequel to what was already one of the best and most memorable Metroidvanias of the modern era. But much more than just retreading the exact same territory, this sequel builds wisely on the strengths of the first game. It’s not just a long adventure and not just a return to the disturbing, gothic world of 2019’s

Great game, Thought it was smash clone… It is but a good one that is just different enough but haves the same core mechanics of Smash but free. Now I game if 5 stars because this game is great but not entirely amazing, The issues I have it the characters some feel a little to good and some feel bad to play and clunky. Ranked is kind of a mess as well lag switchers and cheaters in the higher ranks as well, But the games where it was legit that is where the fun is!

A Hauntingly Beautiful Mobile Puzzle Platformer! | Ugly Review

Ugly is a macabre puzzle platformer set in a twisted fairy tale world. Its beautiful art style is evocative of the innocence that exudes from the drawings of children warped by the scars of trauma and abandonment. You play as the unnamed prince who sticks out like a sore thumb. He is our titular “ugly” character with his harsh eyes and bulbous nose, a stark contrast to the sophistication and hand-crafted beauty that surrounds him in the vast castle. Perhaps that is why the story starts with him waking up locked away in the basement, hidden away from the world.

Worldless offers a mysterious and beautiful world to explore - it’s a shame about the combat

SHOULD I PLAY WORLDLESS? Give this one a miss. Worldless has some ideas that are neat in theory, but frequently end up feeling like they were implemented by someone unfamiliar with the concept of video games. Particularly aggravating is the combat, which stops the game’s free exploration for a stodgy back and forth turn-based battle system. Combine that with frustrating traversal puzzles in which errors drop you back to the beginning, and this beautiful abstract trip turns into a slog that just isn’t worth making. For a better version of this experience, try

Call of Duty 2024: Black Ops 6

"Call of Duty 2024: Black Ops 6" or what it will entail. However, based on the past "Call of Duty" releases, it is likely that the game will be a first-person shooter game set in a military or war-themed environment with a focus on multiplayer gameplay. It may also include a single-player campaign mode with an engaging storyline and a variety of multiplayer modes, including team deathmatch, domination, and search and destroy.

What makes this game special is how items and weapons interact in unexpected ways.

Evan's Remains Story of Love Full Review
The city of Ancora was founded hundreds of years ago by the first Guildmaster Othniel and powered by the Saga, a collection of all the wondrous stories in the Bible. This city provides light and life to all the land. At the top of the city stands the Spire Of Light which shines with the power of the stories contained in the Bible.  Meanwhile Ancora is still recovering from the attack of the Great Shadow, his greatest enemy intent on stealing his 11 exciting missions of biblical stories: Messages from the Angels (the angel Gabriel appears to Mary, Angels and Shepherds (the birth of Jesus), Jesus and the Fishermen (Jesus calls his first disciples), etc. The Great Shadow was defeated by the simplest of treasures: a simple wooden cup (the Holy Grail) that symbolizes the greatest story of the entire saga, unfortunately many of the stories were lost in the attack and the Spire has faded. It will be our task to recover them. It is a world-famous digital title where the stories of the Bible come to life for the opportunity to discover Jesus and engage with the passages of the Bible. Here the stories of the Bible come to life in new and action-packed ways thanks to a fully customizable character entering and discovering the adventures of the Bible using the best parkour (free running) skills, climbing and operating contraptions to overcome timed doors.  We will meet Jesus and experience the miracles he performed. This title was the winner of the Premier Digital 'App of the Year 2015', 'App of the Year 2017' and 'Innovative Use of Media in Outreach' awards.

Ubisoft resurrects Prince of Persia in a fantastic new Metroidvania form

SHOULD I PLAY PRINCE OF PERSIA: THE LOST CROWN? Yes! As a long-time fan of the Prince of Persia franchise, I was excited to see it coming back, but even gamers who are totally unfamiliar with previous games should be able to find plenty to love in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. This reboot puts players into the role of Sargon, a warrior of Persia who must venture into the dangerous region of Mount Qaf after the prince is kidnapped. In gameplay terms, that means exploring a fascinating region in the form of a tightly designed 2D Metroidvania-style adventure.
