At Summer Game Fest 2023, Square Enix surprised us by announcing a colorful four-versus-four shooter called Foamstars. The game is all about spraying down enemies and the arena with blue, pink, purple, and green bubbles. It drew immediate comparisons to Nintendo's Splatoon series, but it's much more than just a clone. In fact, it was one of our favorite games that we got to try out at Summer Game Fest!

MY OVERALL SCORE 8/10 This game is a ton of fun and runs super smooth. Looting and shooting feels great, and I loved exploring the city and trying to find the blood crystals. The cosmetics in this game are beyond amazing. The cash shop is cosmetic only and done very well. this is a must play for any fan of shooter games. SHOULD I PLAY FOAMSTARS? Play it, especially if you like the Splatoon franchise. Foamstars offers all the fun and chaotic gameplay of Splatoon but it’s on PlayStation hardware instead of Nintendo. It’s basically a Splatoon clone for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, and that’s the whole appeal of the game. While a few visual design and matchmaking issues need to be addressed, what’s here in this launch is actually really fun and entertaining.

👍 Pros: 🎮 Gameplay: 4.5/5 It's Fortnite what's not to like it's the same game ported directly. It's not a toned down version like PUBG Mobile or Warzone Mobile. 🕹️ Controls: 4.1/5 Controls are mid just like every other game. Sometimes it gets overwhelming but it doesn't really matter that much because you have Fortnite on Mobile. 🎨 Graphics: 4.7/5 The graphics are crisp having all the assets from the game removing nothing from the PC/Console version. Definitely stunning on mobile.

The graphics are incredible compared to the majority of our most well known shooters such as pubgm codm. It is one of those games you would play once you get a burnout of your main game since Battle prime just brings that fresh feeling of the shooter genre with the agents having different "abilities". The devs have banged on nailed the formula with the satisfaction you gain from killing the enemy player, it is unlike any other game I've seen.
