SHOULD I PLAY FORT SOLIS? Fort Solis is absolutely worth playing, as long as you know the type of game you’re getting into. And that is, to be clear, a one hundred percent narrative game. Virtually all of the “gameplay” in Fort Solis is made up of walking around the titular creepy abandoned base on Mars, with a small handful of very simple puzzles and quick time events. That said, if you’re down for a creepy, suspenseful story, this one will get under your skin in all the best ways.

Man this game gave me hope...then it yanked it away brutally. I felt like some mouse that had been roped in with cheese without seeing the trap of despair ahead. They showed us great graphics with souls like combat in a zombie setting but gave us a janky, clunky, unable to work at max settings, arpg with annoying boss attack patterns and more janky clunky skills. The graphics are incredible compared to the majority of our most well known shooters such as pubgm codm. It is one of those games you would play once you get a burnout of your main game since Battle prime just brings that fresh feeling of the shooter genre with the agents having different "abilities". The devs have banged on nailed the formula with the satisfaction you gain from killing the enemy player, it is unlike any other game I've seen.

Very few RPGs manage to capture the sense of whimsy and adventure of Super Mario RPG, so when one comes along, we take notice. That's why we couldn't look away when we saw the absolutely adorable and fun-looking Born of Bread. This RPG puts players into the shoes of Loaf, a "flour golem" who must journey the world and make new friends while solving a perplexing mystery. Like Super Mario RPG, Born of Bread's combat system is technically turn-based, but different moves allow players to do extra damage by completing timing-based challenges. So it requires a little more attention than the average turn-based RPG, where you might just tap "attack" over and over.

SHOULD I PLAY SILENT HOPE? Definitely give this one a chance if you’re looking for a surprisingly relaxing, grindy dungeon-crawler, but maybe skip it if you mainly go to RPGs for the story. Silent Hope goes back to the absolute basics of the Japanese RPG formula, with a crew of seven mute heroes, each representing a different class, journeying into a multi-level abyss to save a fallen kingdom. By sticking to the fundamentals, the game is able to focus on making the characters and world charming as hell and the core gameplay streamlined and solid.

I realize that headline might be a little provocative. Gaming’s greatest series? Really? Well, yes. For my money, at least, no single franchise has had a larger impact on my personal life in video games than Final Fantasy. The original game introduced me to Japanese RPGs. Final Fantasy VI taught me how much a video game story could affect me. Final Fantasy XIV is probably the best MMORPG ever made.
