It's average at best, generic visual novel on playstore. Sadly, microtransactions are present. Edit: Dialogues are beyond cringe, I'd be better off watching dry paint instead.

Roleplay as a Occult Librarian with Book of Hours!

Book of Hours (Reviewed) Developer: Weather Factory Publisher: Weather Factory Released: Aug 17th, 2023 Price: $30 USD Book of hours is a very unique and weird take on time management cult simulation. It's not quite a card game, and it's not quite a story game. Yet you feel obligated to keep pushing for that "one more try" before the hours change to multiple digits and the days fly by, regardless of whether or not any genuine progress has been made.

Sometimes a great location is all it takes to make a game really shine. Pitstop in Purgatory is the perfect example of that, presenting players with a compellingly weird version of the afterlife that's full of mystery and intrigue. I took on the role of Astrid, a young woman who dies at the beginning of the game. Death is just the beginning, though, as she wakes up in a strange place—neither heaven nor hell, but somewhere in between—and must figure out how to keep going forward.

UNTIL THEN - A CINEMATIC VISUAL NOVEL MASTERPIECE

This sensation cannot be described in words. This is not an action game, nor is it full of buzz and excitement. It's a down-to-earth experience with many realistic issues that will certainly resonate with you, especially if you reside in the Philippines. If you enjoy visual novels that you can sink your teeth into in terms of relatability and feeling like a real experience, you should pick up Until Then

❤️I'VE NEVER FELT THIS FLUSTERED BEFORE❤️

Sure, while I am not the target demographic for this game or the genre, I can appreciate how well it is done visually in many respects, whether it be the music, the visuals, or simply the personality and voice acting of each of the key characters. If you are a young woman who simply wants to be admired by gorgeous men in a fantastic Otome, look no further than this!

This musical visual novel is interesting, but the story stops before it really gets going

Concerto on White has a lot of interesting ideas, but the current version of the game just wasn't engaging enough to keep my interest. Part visual novel, part music simulation game, Concerto on White takes place at Concordia Academy of Music, a school attended by some of the world's most talented muscians. You play as Macaron, a modestly talented student who was admitted to the academy under mysterious circumstances.

There are too many questionable topics in this game

The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood (Reviewed) Developer: Deconstructeam Publisher: Devolver Digital Released: Aug 16th, 2023 Price: $16 USD The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood is a deck-building interactive novel in which you play in the shoes of Fortuna, a witch exiled because of her power to influence the destiny of everyone she reads their Tarot fortune to, due to the fear of her leader. The game looks great on the surface, but as you advance through and pay more attention to the dialog, it becomes less so. It becomes... excessively questionable.

What if you were lost in space? The Invincible is Firewatch with a science fiction twist

SHOULD I PLAY THE INVINCIBLE? Play it if you’re a fan of old-school hard science fiction, but skip it if you’re not big on interactive fiction. The Invincible tells a slow-paced but fascinating story based on the Stanislaw Lem novel of the same name. Dr. Yasna, a biologist on an interstellar mission, wakes up alone on a strange planet with no memory of how she got there. It’s a fantastic premise, and the story is expertly told, but the gameplay doesn’t always live up to the quality of the narrative. It’s not for everyone, but if you’ve enjoyed other walking simulators like

A cozy matchmaking sim with a talking cat?! Matchmaker Agency is an addictive management game

SHOULD I PLAY MATCHMAKER AGENCY? Play it if you like management games with an emphasis on story. In Matchmaker Agency, you take over your grandparent’s matchmaking service. Helping people find true love isn’t always easy, but thankfully, you have a talking cat familiar to guide you through the process. The story is charming, and the mechanics are a fun twist on more traditional management games. There were times when I wish it gave me a little more to do, but overall, I really enjoyed the story and gameplay.

PLAY IT OR SKIP IT? Play it, especially if you’re a fan of cozy games. Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly is a sweet, slow-paced game that never feels stressful. It has plenty of coffee brewing, but the game’s main focus is on heart-to-heart conversations. There are some returning faces from the first Coffee Talk, but you don’t have to play the original to enjoy the sequel. It’s a game anyone can enjoy, whether they’re an experienced barista or a novice coffee brewer.

Obey Me! Nightbringer - An OTOME Style Visual Novel with a DASH of Rhythm Game

I tried out Obey Me! Nightbringer since it's got a rhythm game mixed into it's visual novel gameplay and this game is pretty good for the most part. Though the rhythm game section does resemble another very popular waifu rhythm game... Subscribe to my YouTube Channel:

IT FUFILLED MY EVERY WISH FOR AN INTERACTIVE NOVEL

Game: Until Then Platform: PC Genre: Interactive Fiction, Visual Novel, Mystery, Drama, 2D Overview Until Then is a really well-done Interactive Visual Novel, and despite the fact that it is only available as a Demo currently, it has the potential to catch and pull you in hook line and sinker. On the surface, it does not appear to be very appealing, but as you get into the game, you will realize how jaw-dropping it actually is.

A cyberpunk mystery with Danganronpa vibes - Master Detective Archives: Rain Code Quick Review

PLAY IT OR SKIP IT? Play it, especially if you’re a fan of Danganronpa or the Ace Attorney games. Master Detective Archives: Rain Code is a near-perfect combination of old-school mystery solving and fantasy storytelling. You play as Yuma Kokohead, a detective who’s lost his memory after striking a deal with a mischievous spirit named Shinigami. Thanks to his spirit pact, Yuma can transform unsolved mysteries into labyrinths that will guide him towards the truth of any case. This unique approach to mystery-solving makes every investigation feel fresh and dynamic. Whether I was solving puzzles, talking to witnesses, or searching for clues, I felt invested in each case I tried to crack. A lot of games have tried to imitate

A DETECTIVE GAME THAT DRIFTS HEAVILY INTO A NOVEL

I've always been an huge fan of detective games. AI Somnium Files, Dangonronpa, and many others come to mind, so I was enthusiastic to try to solve challenging puzzles and mysteries, but to my disappointment, I found that it was largely a decently done Visual Novel with extremely simple solutions to each crime.

I 鰐 HUG THAT GATOR - EMOTIONALLY DESTROYED ME!

It's not surprising. The game itself, while appearing to be more parodic than serious at times, had some of the most profoundly compelling ways of tearing me away from myself and forcing me to reflect on what my life had become over the years. If you enjoy well-written visual novels with plenty of personality and character, all for the purpose of love, you'll adore this game so please check it out on Steam!

The game really has a pack of suspense wrapped around it tackling life and death

The graphics are a bit eerie for me, but I can't get enough of so many puzzles to solve that it makes me play it even further. 😲 I am intrigued by the storyline of Astrid as she progresses and discovers her identity as to who she is, and how she ended up in the middle world. Honestly, for a small price in the Play Store, I think this game is really great, and I would definitely love to see this through.

Obey Me! Nightbringer - A DEN OF IKEMEN DEMONS!... And A VERY FAMILIAR RHYTHM GAME Style.

I've never played the first Obey Me! game, I am not really the target audience for this game. But I thought I'd give Obey Me! Nightbringer a try since I read that there is a rhythm game mixed into the game as well. And well... yeah this is an interesting and very jam packed game indeed. Gameplay wise this game has you play as a female protaganist that gets magically sent to the Devildom, and you meet some handsome demons who all seem to have an interest in you.
