THIS IS DEFINITELY A SERIES I NEVER KNEW I NEEDED!

Game: Yohane the Parhelion - NUMAZU in the MIRAGE Platform: PC, PS5, SWITCH Genre: Deck-builder, JRPG, Roguelike Overview My first impression of Yohane the Parhelion - NUMAZU in the MIRAGE is a very unusual take on the typical deck-builders that I have played over the course of the last few years. In essence, it is a combination of a well-written piece of anime & visually stellar artwork set in a universe that is bright and vibrant in so many ways!

What if you were lost in space? The Invincible is Firewatch with a science fiction twist

SHOULD I PLAY THE INVINCIBLE? Play it if you’re a fan of old-school hard science fiction, but skip it if you’re not big on interactive fiction. The Invincible tells a slow-paced but fascinating story based on the Stanislaw Lem novel of the same name. Dr. Yasna, a biologist on an interstellar mission, wakes up alone on a strange planet with no memory of how she got there. It’s a fantastic premise, and the story is expertly told, but the gameplay doesn’t always live up to the quality of the narrative. It’s not for everyone, but if you’ve enjoyed other walking simulators like

IT FUFILLED MY EVERY WISH FOR AN INTERACTIVE NOVEL

Game: Until Then Platform: PC Genre: Interactive Fiction, Visual Novel, Mystery, Drama, 2D Overview Until Then is a really well-done Interactive Visual Novel, and despite the fact that it is only available as a Demo currently, it has the potential to catch and pull you in hook line and sinker. On the surface, it does not appear to be very appealing, but as you get into the game, you will realize how jaw-dropping it actually is.

Sometimes a great location is all it takes to make a game really shine. Pitstop in Purgatory is the perfect example of that, presenting players with a compellingly weird version of the afterlife that's full of mystery and intrigue. I took on the role of Astrid, a young woman who dies at the beginning of the game. Death is just the beginning, though, as she wakes up in a strange place—neither heaven nor hell, but somewhere in between—and must figure out how to keep going forward.

Obey Me! Nightbringer - An OTOME Style Visual Novel with a DASH of Rhythm Game

I tried out Obey Me! Nightbringer since it's got a rhythm game mixed into it's visual novel gameplay and this game is pretty good for the most part. Though the rhythm game section does resemble another very popular waifu rhythm game... Subscribe to my YouTube Channel:

Obey Me! Nightbringer - A DEN OF IKEMEN DEMONS!... And A VERY FAMILIAR RHYTHM GAME Style.

I've never played the first Obey Me! game, I am not really the target audience for this game. But I thought I'd give Obey Me! Nightbringer a try since I read that there is a rhythm game mixed into the game as well. And well... yeah this is an interesting and very jam packed game indeed. Gameplay wise this game has you play as a female protaganist that gets magically sent to the Devildom, and you meet some handsome demons who all seem to have an interest in you.

100 detectives vs 100 criminals? Methods: The Detective Competition is the ultimate mystery game

SHOULD I PLAY METHODS: DETECTIVE COMPETITION? Play it if you like mystery games with a sense of humor. In Methods: Detective Competition, one hundred detectives face off against one hundred master criminals. As you might expect, this plot requires a huge cast of characters, and I’ve enjoyed getting to know all of them. It’s more like a visual novel than an investigation game, but it’s still given me plenty of chances to test out my sleuthing skills.

❤️I'VE NEVER FELT THIS FLUSTERED BEFORE❤️

Sure, while I am not the target demographic for this game or the genre, I can appreciate how well it is done visually in many respects, whether it be the music, the visuals, or simply the personality and voice acting of each of the key characters. If you are a young woman who simply wants to be admired by gorgeous men in a fantastic Otome, look no further than this!

I 鰐 HUG THAT GATOR - EMOTIONALLY DESTROYED ME!

It's not surprising. The game itself, while appearing to be more parodic than serious at times, had some of the most profoundly compelling ways of tearing me away from myself and forcing me to reflect on what my life had become over the years. If you enjoy well-written visual novels with plenty of personality and character, all for the purpose of love, you'll adore this game so please check it out on Steam!

Roleplay as a Occult Librarian with Book of Hours!

Book of Hours (Reviewed) Developer: Weather Factory Publisher: Weather Factory Released: Aug 17th, 2023 Price: $30 USD Book of hours is a very unique and weird take on time management cult simulation. It's not quite a card game, and it's not quite a story game. Yet you feel obligated to keep pushing for that "one more try" before the hours change to multiple digits and the days fly by, regardless of whether or not any genuine progress has been made.

PLAY IT OR SKIP IT? Play it, especially if you’re a fan of cozy games. Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly is a sweet, slow-paced game that never feels stressful. It has plenty of coffee brewing, but the game’s main focus is on heart-to-heart conversations. There are some returning faces from the first Coffee Talk, but you don’t have to play the original to enjoy the sequel. It’s a game anyone can enjoy, whether they’re an experienced barista or a novice coffee brewer.

Until Then - A Bundle Of Spectacular Sparks Filled With Emotions & Adventure.

'Until Then' is truly a one-of-a-kind game. The intro, art style, narration, story, characters, music, dialogues, mini-games, and everything else were really impressive. After finishing the game, I felt like rain had washed over me. At first, I was caught off guard (especially because of the final scene) and soon felt the coldness of the rain. But then I was happy and content with how everything seemed to make sense. When it was finally over, it left me feeling a bit empty as well.

A cozy matchmaking sim with a talking cat?! Matchmaker Agency is an addictive management game

SHOULD I PLAY MATCHMAKER AGENCY? Play it if you like management games with an emphasis on story. In Matchmaker Agency, you take over your grandparent’s matchmaking service. Helping people find true love isn’t always easy, but thankfully, you have a talking cat familiar to guide you through the process. The story is charming, and the mechanics are a fun twist on more traditional management games. There were times when I wish it gave me a little more to do, but overall, I really enjoyed the story and gameplay.

The game really has a pack of suspense wrapped around it tackling life and death

The graphics are a bit eerie for me, but I can't get enough of so many puzzles to solve that it makes me play it even further. 😲 I am intrigued by the storyline of Astrid as she progresses and discovers her identity as to who she is, and how she ended up in the middle world. Honestly, for a small price in the Play Store, I think this game is really great, and I would definitely love to see this through.

A Second Cup Of Cozy Coffee Talk - Reviewing Episode 2 - Hibiscus & Butterfly

Hey folks,  Thanks for tapping on my latest review- with today's subject being Toge Productions Coffee Talk: Episode 2 - Hibiscus & Butterfly. I'm going to be talking shop about what this particular addition to the series brings to the table, and whether they managed to hammer out some of the quibbles I had with it's predecessor. (Speaking of which, you can check out -that- review over @ ) P.S.  If you want to see my other reviews, you can check out & Follow me

KNOCK ON THE COFFIN LID - A FANTASTIC DECKBUILDER!

It is best to wait till the devs work on the necessary QoL adjustments that make the game less stressful in terms of player retention, especially if you stop playing halfway through one day and come back the next because your file may become corrupted causing crashes until you start a new run or a new save if you're from EA. They have made significant progress in resolving as many of these issues as quickly as possible, while also continually updating the game with many patches on a daily basis, which is commendable for such a small team of 5 developers.

It can go on par with high-end PC games with tons of mysteries to uncover

I have always been curious about the concept of life after death and having a game like this really fuels your imagination of what it is like to be in purgatory. Well, who isn't? Alongside that, the game has so many puzzles that you need to solve to progress to the game, which makes it much more addictive to play. For a small price, it definitely lived up to its price, and I can't wait to play it during my past time.

A DETECTIVE GAME THAT DRIFTS HEAVILY INTO A NOVEL

I've always been an huge fan of detective games. AI Somnium Files, Dangonronpa, and many others come to mind, so I was enthusiastic to try to solve challenging puzzles and mysteries, but to my disappointment, I found that it was largely a decently done Visual Novel with extremely simple solutions to each crime.
