After a date in a bookstore, he was involved in an accident that changed his fate, and he was forced to transplant a ghoul organ. It got me curious and let me try the game later on.

SHOULD I PLAY TOKYO GHOUL: BREAK THE CHAINS? Skip it, unless you’re really, really into Tokyo Ghoul. Tokyo Ghoul: Break the Chains presents the exact same stuff I’ve seen a million times before across the long string of samey mobile gacha games I’ve tried over the years. It doesn’t contain an original idea in its gameplay or design. This lack of originality would make for a boring game no matter what, but it’s especially disappointing given the brilliance of the anime, light novel series, and manga it’s based on.

Previously, I played TOKYO GHOUL [:re birth], which was magnificent in almost every sense, but, unfortunately, it was closed at one time, although the atmosphere there was one of the best that I have ever encountered in a game in general, even after that I wanted to re-watch the anime, deciding that this game would inherit only the best and add something new to the battle system, making it better – yeah, it’s not like that... Rest in peace legend.

Tokyo Ghoul: Break the Chains is out now on ios and android devices, and while overall the game is fun, I did find the level grinding to be a fair bit tedious, and the audio could have been better. Other than that though the game was pretty cool.
